      I actually did felt something like that but nowadays, when I play a game, I stick to it till it gives me big win and then give another 10 spins and if no win within those spins, I simply just quit. I know for a fact, sometimes a game could give big wins twice or maybe three times if you're lucky between small amount of spins. WMS's Kronos is a good example of it.

      You need luck with those games, I for once, played Gold Star a few months ago and random feature appeared more than I expected. I played for an hour and my balance was quadrupled.
