Unachievable Claims Should Be Banned!
pinnit2015 replied to Afi4wins's topic in Suggestions and Feedback
True: bit like why footballers on 50k a week plus are placing bets on the results of games to earn them a measly 10k. In the words of the famous rock bank,ABBA, Money, Money, Money. logically, makes no sense but when have humans been logical. The Vulcans, however...- 16 replies

Yeah, if your details were the same it’s extremely poor: no doubt, had you won they would have confiscated ( always odd that casinos have all these detailed systems, yet struggle to pick out duplicate accounts): but that’s just conjecture Would do no harm to submit a SAR anyhow; it’s free now . Just to see what the response from GS was. Personally, I wouldn’t waste the effort on it: if you SE and were allowed to gamble on one of their sister sites for example, you’d have a very strong chance: this? Not so much.

On the other point you make - we are at the mercy of placing trust in the independent testing of casino games. Max wins, RTP's etc: it's all very Wizard Behind the Curtain. The new trend is not saying each spin is random but rather pseudo-random: soon we will move towards what some people are adamant on: they're compensated by virtue of AI. Personally, i think they're as fair and random as they can be BUT, i'll keep an open mind either way as nothing surprises me when it comes to human greed ? In my previous job we were investigation a guy for fraud and one of the 'defences' was that they earned a ***** of a lot of money, so why would they be on the take for <5% of their salary. Result? Yep - twas him. Probably why i was made cynical to an extent ?- 16 replies

Unachievable Claims Should Be Banned!

I know mate - i think this 'win up to' does verge on borderline misleading: if it was buried in the games help file: that's one thing, but the fact that it's plastered all over the front page means that, IMO, it needs greater scrutiny as it is now a marketing/advertising ploy to get people to load up the game....So tell us Mr Software developers: if the win was achieved after 247 running of testing simulations, it maybe came in a billion trillion but you think, that in the lifetime of the game, you expect only 1 billion spins: it makes the 60kx starting to verge on being irrelevant. That's the thing with the testing, or the inherent limitations: i think they do it (RTP for example) on a variety of bet sizes so the next question is....on what stake is the 60k x achieved on (other issue here is that bigger bet sizes can possible adversely affect the RTP given the capped winnings. I personally wouldn't state the max win....let punters play the game and let them decide on how good it is. If you hang your hat on 60kx wins and punters are struggling to hit above 10x, you're gonna alienate them IMO. Re JF: it was probably 2 retriggers and a board of premium symbols on the last spin? Should maybe just submit a case to the advertising standards agency telling them that, given most bonus wins are 10x in the bonus round, you have doubts as to the veracity of the 60k claims- 16 replies

They will have hit that value in the twenty billion spins they did in the testing phase; it’s part of the lab testing specs for game certification I believe where they detail all the permutations. Whilst I don’t think places that promote this are lying, they are leaving out valuable context of over how many spins it took to hit. Not how many times it happened but, strictly speaking, it’s true. One view is that they should state the odds of this (one in a trillion if a trillion spins). Other people many not like the idea of assigning probability type lottery odds to a slot. Id be very surprised if they didn’t have the evidence of the 60k hit : it’s so obvious on the slot machine, that it would be pretty easy for the ASA etc to ask ‘show us’. I don’t see it as any different to claims of a 96.8% RTP in the help file; have to place reliance on the independence of the testing labs. Whether that’s enough for some people is their choice. I can see the problems with such spurious claims and I wouldn’t be surprise if something was introduced in the future to at least caveat it. My bigger issue is that, given most games have win caps, whilst I may hit 60kcal on 20p and get it all, should it happen on a fiver: I won’t- 16 replies

Ah, Genesis Group: another poor one IMO; sounded like LV who’ve been having issues after taking on the old IPS group. Probably not then; the casino won’t have received anything back from Gamstop saying you’re on the blacklist, so to speak. GS is still finding its feet atm and there are many ways to get round it. re verification: changes are coming surrounding verification. We have a few MPs on the news stating that, in a recent case, it was ridiculous that it was only happening at withdrawal and not before a penny was deposited. Probably best to move on and make the money back by not playing anymore; there are better things to be doing ?

As good as the VS Jackpot Wheel is, it’s kinda limited. Yes, the Gold gives you a minimum amount of cash but in doing away with a loyalty team there is no scope for ‘discretionary’ offers that many do. Then again, considering something like 70 to 80 percent of a casinos revenue comes from high rollers you can’t expect them to cater for LR for ever I suppose. Still better than any kindred casino iv played at right enough.
-
You need to check the terms of Gamstop. They’re quite peculiar in that, in attempting to join another casino, you’re in breach of them. A problem gamblers trying to login to a casino? Well, I never. I think, under GS, they look at name, email, DOB, address and possibly one more. If it’s a 4/5 match or 3/4 it flags. Im not going to get into the semantics of if you knew you had multiple accounts/trying to circumvent because, despite my personal views, I think it’s irrelevant (not having a go at you but I find it odd how people forget they opened accounts at places). It sounds like the Leo Vegas Group, per chance?. If it is you have a high chance of something - mainly due to the fact LV have serious issues with their self exclusion atm. Your issue may be accusations of giving a different name but if they rest is correct and it was only a typo then it still should have been picked up: or at least put on review. Re GS - if the casino didn’t receive a negative response back from GS then they have done nothing wrong. Then your issue is with GS but the name mistake may cause a problem as well as their terms. Best way is to request a Subject Access Request to see what information was shared; it covers automated decision making. I doubt the multiple account thing helps you; best persue from the RG being allowed to open an account. However... they fact they didn’t pick up on a second account, all registration details being equal, may serve in your favour as that’s beyond poor. Sorry, typing on a mobile and on a emergency trip home, so brains only at 75 percent ?

Extra Juicy Slot - Pragmatic Play

To be fair... that’s just the sign of a very HV game ? Personally I don’t like the game. Had a pound retrigger and it paid me 40x in the bonus. Not a win in the last 12. IMO the most volatile of all the PP. pound for pound I’d take Madame Destiny on lower bets any day of the week - really don’t trust PP on quids above. Re the 60k - personally I’d like places to know how many spins that occurred in. If it’s 4 billion quadrillion million then it’s a pretty pointless statement. Good for selling though ? -
I do wonder, if like Netent, PNG and some others should be more about quality and less quantity. New games issued every other week it seems, or more frequent, and most of it is re-skinned garbage with the odd good one thrown in. Ill have a stab at the game later (currently waiting to see how long my flight will be delayed) but, if my experience with most PNGs will go, I’ll likely play it for a bit and never return. Hopefully hit the 5k but if I want to play a true HV game I’ll fire a few hundred at a Novomatic or Merkur ?
-
Lucky in the UK, at least, that they need to display the RTP in the help file....might want to check the Direx sites etc to see what theirs say as they have no obligation to do so ?
-
It's OK from limited play - i got 10 free spins in Casino Heroes (Don't play PNG here - 94%) and got 150x on second spin: pretty sure I had 4 wild/premium symbol reels so bit miffed only 150x tbh. PNG are a bit like Netent in that they seem to have 2 development team: For every Reactoonz there's a Fu Er Dai nonsense etc. Or worse. Hugo 2. Having said that I'd hazard a guess the slot with the most 1000x plus wins over the last few years is Book of Dead.

Ainsworth will always be memorable for me: Cash Inferno I hit the Jackpot, back in 2007, for my first 10k plus win. Dunno if Arthurs Quest was Ainsworth, but the opposite 6 months after that: 2.5k or so down in the afternoon, put 500 more in and went on 45 quid spins (some might say i tilted) and hit 5 symbols for bonus (x3), got the full amount in the bonus (was the Lily Pad one IIRC) and ended up...100 quid up that day with some more play (what a ***** multiplier when i think about it) Was probably the last time i played them - Bet Victor had a whack of them at the time.

Even if it was fine, the fact they've had 10 people spamming 4 forums online within a week of opening, doesn't exactly bode well for their integrity. Which looks like zero.
-
Not strictly true I think - Barcrest had one years ago ( need to remember or find the name) Theyre certainly the ones who have mass sold them. DOA2 has three free spin picks I think - believe they’ve kept to the original in terms of pays.

Hopefully the Night King will see them all off and rule a giant iceberg in its place. Why? I find, in the main, most of the characters deplorable or full of self importance: they’ve had their time ? They’ve maybe gone one or two series’ over what they should of IMO. Dunno if it was 5 or 6 but I remember watching that and thinking they could have wrapped it up in one episode. Funnily enough I was back home and was at the Dark Hedges where they filmed a lot of the North - they’ve closed it off to cars and I was told to reverse.

Vegasland casino grounds for charge back?
pinnit2015 replied to alanlukeb's topic in Online Slot Discussions
You’ll need to contact your bank but to be honest I’d be surprised if they did allow it. Running with ‘ I deposited there and they’d no UK licemce’ Is, I imagine, going to be pretty irrelevant to them: only going to be concerned if you received a service, which you did if they credited the account. Depends what your bank says - some are more stringent than others. Careful not to embellish the story - a lot of people make out in these situations that it was unauthorised, when it wasn’t. I’ve seen they pay some U.K. so they do in some cases. -

Meant to say - just noticed that Stakers casino have PNG slots at 91%? Not sure if it's always been like that, or if UK only, but clicked the help file the other day. Ironically, every session i've been playing there on PNG i've been lucky, so musta dodged the 9% house edge - 9%. Oooft. -
Can't wait to see what Shadowbet have to offer after they set the precedent with their generous Xmas bounty. Seen a few come by email - the casino one above, the Rizk one but nothing that tickles thon fancy. BGO have one as well and, providing you're a big enough sucker to pay their deposit/withdrawal fees, knock yourself out.

Mega slot wins - oh yes, it's possible!
pinnit2015 replied to ValDes's topic in Share your Winner Screenshots
It’s not too bad on quids....250 max is best iv got though. So not great. BTGs don’t mind high bets, PPs games in my opinion are best played on quids or lower; they really aren’t that keen on big bets. Probably something to do with smoothing the RTP curve, which is apparently within the rules. Cough.- 3526 replies

Err...a bigger issue, if you're based in London, is that you shouldn't be allowed to join as they have no UK licence.
