Edit - it's a possible risk indicator of there being a GA that requires further follow-up - many (most) close accounts due to many non RG issues.

Well if you watched the bbc programme, the phone calls from VIP didn't look too great: hey; sorry your dad died, have a 100 quid bonus. So maybe they're concerned about that. Other option, and more likely, is that they're incompetent. 'Mug Punters' etc Only thing i would say in terms of a/c closures - whilst i agree it's a sign of an issue, there are plenty of folk who use the Time Out (different to closure?) function to simply limit themselves if saving etc and I wouldn't like to see people simply not use it for fear of being designated an addict etc.

Feel like we've circled this drain a number of times. I'll keep it short. These topics have mentally exhausted me. Should you? No comment other than 'wish i could claim back my Bonanza related deposits' Will you? Possibly. WHG are on Gamstop? Gamstop uses 5 data points: Forename, Surname, DOB, Postcode, Email (why email i dunno). If 4 match, a response should be sent to the casino prohibiting you from logging in. Were your details the same? Did you alter them or not let Gamstop know of any changes? If yes, forget about it. If your details were the same then you'd need to see where the failure lies - GS or the casino. IF the casino received a negative response from GS - then they are not at fault and again, forget about it. Put a Subject Access Request into the casino - they are obligated to give you details about 'automated decisions' If the fault is with the casino (and they don't need to request documents to determine your SE) then you're in no-mans land. ADR's won't touch it, UKGC don't deal with complaints so all you can do is raise a complaint with the casino, cite the GC in and hope for the best. The UKGC may be more interested if the issue is with GS. GS isn't fit for purpose IMO but it's a tool - very little they can do when players deliberately seek out Non registered casinos.

Yeah I've noticed that the winless streaks seem to be more frequency - last week i went 31 w/o one, which was unheard of... Still - could be worse; could be Kingmaker your playing; another gimmicky slot from BTG who seem to have ran out of ideas already

Mega slot wins - oh yes, it's possible!

You can pretty much guarantee if you need a wild in the centre, SA/ToM, will place it in the top corners ? SA is good for bigger bets a lot of the time if you want a high stake 100x win - gives it more than TOM, which seemingly needs a minor miracle to scrape 150x. That's the thing with them - their paytables are so inconsistent; some decent games and then some that give 25x for 5 wilds etc. Hand on heart say that, Reactoonz aside, if i play them solely 99/100 there's no withdrawal. Maybe they just hate me right enuff.- 3526 replies

Bonanza makes up 80% of my play and i can, with reasonable certainly, pass my view: QF used to be the worse, but they must have done something with it as it's probably the smoother IMO of the two. NYX has been a disaster since the issues of last month - the fact casinos never pulled this version is a bit of a joke. Seems OK-ish now. In terms of pay, give or take, QF seems to be bonusing more than NYX since the issues last month. NYX semms to be giving the less frequent but bigger wins I'd say i'm luckiest on NYX but TBH that view is skewed as my main casinos - Casumo and Redbet run them, so naturally i play most here.

Certainly reserved exclusively if you want to set up a casino to fleece folk ?

They're hardly a Micky Mouse organisation (not that it matters) so be surprised if they go out of their way to hold onto a few hundred bucks. But if the situation is how the OP describes it, it could be construed as somewhat predatory. From what i see it's 100 after wagering. So if that 100 turns into 200, into 300, it doesn't matter: point of conversion is at the point wagerings met. Only way i can see how the 19 quid is relevant is if he lost the 100 and placed a bet with the 19 left.

Said before, i just don't like the feel of their games: I don't know what I'm buying when i play them as they release a lot of tat: I play Merkur/Novo's/even BTG, etc, i know what they are but PNG not so much; almost feel cheapish: that Riche Wilde game is one of the worst I've played this year. Still like Sweet Alchemy for some unfathomable reason- 3526 replies

I just never feel confident playing them for big wins - other than Reactoonz and seeing others with BoD....was playing that game with 100 quid of bonus money - ranging from a quid to 1.60 and hit bonus 6 times but all less than 50x. Maybe they don't like me but i just load the game up knowing i aint gonna see a big win - even with Reactoonz i hit Garga 7 times, yes 7, on a quid in one session and had a rubbish 150 quid profit (up yes, but how many times do you hit garga 7 times with a 50 depo on quids)- 3526 replies

Sorry for hi-jacking your thread Steven ?

Agree but i think some casino's recently have been trotting out the line of basically 'It needs to go to our ADR, not another party' and then prattling on, wrongly, about data protection (think Redbet were one - was having a look to see any recent complaints here to see if they were still engaging). Was just curious if it was something you guys had picked up on.
-
Report them to the ICO - https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/your-personal-information-concerns/ Good to see they've improved!
-
That was optimistic! - does their new ADR rules read well? Not had a chance to look - just wondering if it will see more companies refusing to deal with anyone other than their designated ADR.
-
Quite an imbalanced view of the whole thing - yes, some valid points but why have a programme on it and no one from the Industry? Just some Jesus-esque researchers here to wash our mortal sins away. EG. when they ask for SOW now they will generally shut your account if you don't supply; Ladbrokes replied 'Sorry Mate, we need to ask but it's no problem, ciao'?

So, you’ve got the CEO of the UKGC in front of you but yet don’t ask about the GCs position on complaints relating to their own regulations ; particularly RG and SE. Of course it’s easier to hang the casinos out to dry. Odd.

Can find it on catch up if you don't see but BBC have, at 8.30pm tonight, a Panorama problem on Problem Gambling. To be honest, the BBC article is so skewed that I don't hold out much hope other than poor, poor journalism.

Are you selling VPNs, per chance?

Yeah, a bank statement will suffice (not that it adds anymore certainty IMO than me writing on a post it note that my address is 221B Baker Street)

As usual, your words are inspirational and not nonsensical in the least.

It's ok for basically a table game on a vertical wheel. I tend to just bet on the 4 and 2 rolls: RTP is around 93 for these. Different numbers have a higher one; eg. 2 and 10 run with 96%. With the RTP as low as 91% there's a lack on incentive to rig the wheel ? Fun enough for say 50 1 quid spins on 4 rolls but i wouldn't spend too long on it.

This old chestnut - think someone a while ago said exactly the same thing about the same company. Personally I'd have waited for the 19 odd to be removed. Even then I'd probably have w/d the 100 and done a fresh 100 just to remove any doubts (not that i think it matters - if you had 400 quid: that should become 100 quid and if you get it back up to 400 then there's no reason for them to take anything off you). I can see the point if, for example, you bet the full 119 in one bet because it's taking advantage of the 19 quid that should have been taken off but, whereby you do a fresh deposit and say barely dip into the 119, i can think of no non-dodgy reason for them to confiscate. They're quite a longstanding company as well.
