Whoaaaa.... PlayNGo Slots can be set as low as 91%??? I feel like I need to spend a whole lot more time around here at the moment. I'm spending more on gaming this year then I have at any other point but because I've got more money in my pocket I'm playing way more casually too, how do I not know things like this?
Anywhere I can read about this?

@cocopop thanks for addressing my query, I should have come back and checked my responses sooner. I'll definitely make a list up of casinos I've registered with from my email that aren't on the site so I can write a little report for each of them.

Any chance of sharing this strategy with us Afi4wins?? Playtech slots I always find to be one of the worst for huuuuuge droughts without the free spins. I do have a habit of playing really crazy games like Great Blue though... even though I know the RTP is shocking too, guess I just can't forget the time it paid me 13,000x in 15x free spins 😮

ValDes, have you had a blast on any of the modern VR systems? PSVR, Oculus, Vive? Or especially any of the ones currently being offered in specialist arcades? The experience is truly ten levels above what was around back in the 90s and I really believe it's the high barrier to entry that is preventing it taking off in a huge way at the moment. The latest version of the Oculus that doesn't require any of the peripheral hardware to be located around the room, instead keeping all the technology simply in the headset and controllers, is another huge leap forward.
It's really not long before you can pop that headset on and find yourself inside a Las Vegas casino full of showgirls... and I know that's going to attract... umm someone ?

I'd actually say its the opposite still.. many sites were initially designed for laptops and PCs and have poor responsive design elements, meaning they fail to display properly on most other devices on many occasions. A bigger problem still is games which are incompatible with those devices still being served to them, although that issue is quickly disappearing now with Flash being phased out extremely rapidly now. Still extremely annoying with a lot of Microgaming table games though, it's unbelievable they still haven't updated ANY of these games to HTML5 with the deadline for Flash support being pulled from browsers entirely is drawing ever closer.

I've only heard positive things about BitStarz so it really bugs me that I can't play there as a UK player. Most of the sites I know of who are accepting crypto payments from UK players are really basic such as luckygames.io, megadice has a few slots but not much in the way of top-tier providers.
But yeah, seems unlikely the casino would refuse payout based on such an issue if they have no sister sites to begin with. Wanna try again op? ?)

If so I'd have thought the taxman and the police would be "helping to clarify" the situation soon enough, no?

I'm honestly devastated for you, I've done it myself a couple of times (although not to quite the same extent...) and learnt a big lesson each time. Over the coming days and weeks you need to think about if you ARE a problem gambler or if you maybe just got carried away here. Were you under the influence a the time at all? That's one thing I definitely realised I needed to keep a handle on when gaming after playing through £700 I managed to win that would REALLY have helped me out that particular month.. I rationalised it by saying "well, I won it, it's not like it's MY money...." ... you have to keep in mind that when you win money, it's NOT just numbers on a screen. Maybe not the best line to be thinking down at this stage though...
As gutting as it is, try and learn from the experience. Write yourself a letter about this experience, how it's made you feel, and as hard as it may be, what difference that money could have made to your life right now. Keep that letter in a drawer at your desk/computer area and absolutely be sure to whip it out next time that "Big Win!" animation is rolling on the screen. As ridiculous as it might sound to some  people this is a tactic that's really worked for me and ensured that the next time I had a £1,200 win I made sure the thousand made its way into my bank account and not back into the casino.
I hope others have some more helpful words for you. but please don't let this get you down. Take a break from playing if you need to and always, always make sure never to play with money you cannot afford to lose.

I seem to remember William Hill had actually bought Joyland out at that point and it might have been them who arranged that deal - from their point of view they were trying to do the right thing by the player having picked up that debt as a liability and finding that much of the money which Playtech had paid out to the casino was no longer sitting in the casino's bank accounts. It's things like that which make you real glad on-line casinos are now required to keep player funds in a segregated account!

Playtech STILL allow their licensees to get away with this kind of behaviour though, it's insane that their software is so popular with the major UK operators considering their past and present business dealings with WAY dodgy offshore scam operators.

So, am just browing the forum for the first time in a LONG while and spotted a couple of threads I participated in ages ago which involved... [drum roll please].... a guy who went by the name "Johnnygotthebone" ... ?!
I'm fascinated to know at this point, did it ever become clear whether he was just trolling us all (at gold medal standards, for sure if thats actually the case) or if he was actually for real with all that stuff he said?
I seriously can't remember when it was that I gave up interacting with his threads myself and might well take a look at a few to help jog my memory but figured it might be worth asking the community for any notable nuggets of information ??

The guy caused epic debates from what I remember so I'm convinced there will be a few people who remember the chaos that kicked up as soon as this guy began posting at a new forum ... I'll be well disappointed if it turns out nobody else even paid attention or remembers the whole carry on   One of the guys I used to hang about with got WAY too sucked into arguing with the guy and I've lost touch with him a while back so if you happen to spot this Wayne please message me ASAP, need to speak to you urgently mate!

Ever won big twice in one night? I know I have, which would surely be impossible if the games were remembering when you won a lot so as to compensate and take the money back from you later... some people suggest the games have some kind of "win limit" which lets you keep  hitting upto a certain point before taking it all back, but the truth is if you play for long enough you'll eventually go bust no matter what - the math of the game makes this inevitable.

So, as everybody else said... nope, the slots aren't remembering your wins... They might just hate you though!

catapultaudio got a reaction from Hazard1 in [Edited] Netent blackjack - is it fair??
Sure, a computer generated random number isn't actually truely random, but it's as close an approximation as your ever going to find - in my work as a software developer I often need to create random numbers and was once asked by a client to do some checking to ensure that the numbers being generated were infact entirely random. I used established techniques for identifying patterns and with a properly seeded pRNG, was unable to find any sort of pattern, or any way of accurately predicting any part of the pRNG's output.
In my work we will usually use several "microtime" values to achieve a decent amount of entropy - this "microtime" is best described as the current date and time, including milliseconds, and is expressed in such a way that it does not repeat from day to day. The resulting number will never be repeated, and you can never successfully try and manipulate what the value will be even by asking a computer to perform a task at a specific date and time - the millisecond count is the key part really, which combined with the latency inherent in any electronic system ensures that the particular "microtime" that is returned is entirely unpredictable. Use several of these at different stages of your computer program (for example, when the program first begins, when a bet is added to the table, when the "deal" button is pressed...) and use the three values as the starting point of a complex equation before sending it to the pRNG, and you can be sure that the output is going to be completely unrepeatable.

I agree that the dealer SEEMS to get another 10 far more than they should, but whenever I set out to monitor something such as this the results tend to be reasonably close to what they should be considering the small sample size I have obtained. I don't know about a "pause" before a bust and guess that is some particular software you are referring to, as it wouldn't make sense for it to happen on all softwares. I've heard some suggest that such a thing happens because the computer is "working out" what card it needs to turn in order to beat you, but this is ridiculous - your dealing with a machine that can process billions of calculations per second, it doesn't need extra time to fathom the answer to a sum with an answer is below or equal to 21

These things also happen in live dealer play and on the tables in the real casino too - I played quite a bit on real tables when I went on a city break a few weeks back and had some damn near unbelievable hands play out on that felt. It felt just as unbelievable as an online blackjack game.

Don't get me wrong, I also find online blackjack to be somewhat iffy at the best of times, though I have had a few unbelievable sessions playing it as well .. you know, £1,500 from £10 deposited and the like! The pseudo RNG isn't the reason for the bad feelings we get though, the shuffling every hand may possibly be involved, but overall I think it's just the house edge at work. Consider this, you can play Microgaming's virtual BJ in Autoplay mode using demo credits in the download software. I have done this for many sessions, £1 bets, 1000 hands at a time, and in general the ratio of win/lose/push is almost always within 10-20% of what it should be. Average out 10 sets of 1,000 hands and the number invariably gets a little closer to what you would mathematically expect. Because of this, if you want to play virtual BJ I recommend Microgaming - I am at least certain that they offer a fair game!

Well mate, by Asian movie makers, I meant filmmakers from Japan, Korea, Thailand and Indonesia, and including my own Malaysian guys. Yes indeed, the scary movies from these filmmakers do not rely on bloody gory scenes...instead relying on creating intense suspense...that keeps the watchers glued to their seats...waiting to see what's going to happen next...and jumping out of the seat once in a while! Hahaha.

Frankly speaking, Malaysian movie makers are still lagging behind the rest. I love watching those Japanese, Korean and Thai horror movies. Can't understand what they are saying though, so I have to keep up with the English sub-titles...that spoils a lot of the fun! Hehehe.

No update on this one ? I ask because i had a little poker freeroll win at the weekend with PP, account locked five minutes after withdrawal... Apparently a security issue on my account. sent requested docs including photo of passport next to my face (!!! I always find that extreme !) And received email confirming all ok and money sent within 5 hours.

I have no idea what caused the issue but the way it was handled was first class, if you are playing by the rules you should have no problems with PP.
