  1. I play only on slot games, and I play only on games that provide a free spins feature. No such feature, no play from me. No retriggers, maybe only one trial game from me. That's the kind of slot player that I am. When I say a free spins feature game, I mean the kind that awards 15 or more free spins, and with a fixed multiplier included. Some feature games award free spins without any multipliers at all, I simply hate this kind, whilst some others need to get the multiplier symbol during the free spins...no symbol, no multiplier, and I hate this kind as well. What I also don't like is the kind that awards a lousy amount of free spins each time, like 6, 7, or 8. I can accept 10 free spins with a good multiplier, otherwise, I won't like it either. Nowadays, almost all newer games award only 6-8 free spins, and needing to get the multiplier symbols to boost up the wins. Games like Buffalo Blitz and Epic Ape from Playtech, for example, awards 8 free spins, plus +5 more free spins with each 2 appearing Free Spins symbols. Most times though, the payouts would be peanuts! Megaways games do not give extra free spins easily, but do not always pay much extra either. So, what kind of free spins feature games am I interested in? The kind that starts with 15 or more free spins, has a fixed multiplier of 3x or higher, and can provide many retriggers as well. Sad to say, NONE of the newer games are capable of providing these. The games that do provide them are very few in numbers, and are mostly old games, which younger generation players tend not to like. Not me of course. I have been playing them regularly for the last 10-20 years, and these few games have now become My Magnificent Six games. All six are Playtech games, the best of its kind! The games that gave the most retriggers are: #1 Heavenly Ruler. A 30 lines game, awarding 15, 25 or 50 free spins (3, 4 or 5 Scatters) with a random 2x, 3x, 5x or 8x multiplier for each free spin. Each retrigger awards 15, 25 or 50 more free spins. The maximum number of retriggers obtained so far is 20, for a total of 335 free spins. Pity that the paytable is on the low side, otherwise this game would be my number 2 top favourite game! #2 Safari Heat. A 15 lines game, awarding 15 free spins with a 3x multiplier. Each retrigger awards 15 more free spins, regardless of 3, 4 or 5 triggering Scatters. The maximum number of retriggers obtained so far is 15, for a total of 240 free spins. Have gotten a few times of all 5 Scatters during a free spins feature game, for a single 1500x bet win. #3 True Love. A 15 lines game, awarding 15 free spins with a 3x multiplier. Each retrigger awards 15 more free spins, regardless of 3, 4 or 5 triggering Scatters. The maximum number of retriggers obtained so far is 10, for a total of 165 free spins. Have gotten 9 times of all 5 Scatters during a free spins feature game, for a single 1500x bet win. #4 Panther Moon. A 15 lines game, awarding 15 free spins with a 3x multiplier. Each retrigger awards 15 more free spins, regardless of 3, 4 or 5 triggering Scatters. The maximum number of retriggers obtained so far is 9, for a total of 150 free spins. Have gotten only twice all 5 Scatters during a free spins feature game, for a single 1500x bet win. Games by other providers can boast of many retriggers as well, but I have yet to hear or see any player getting more than 5 retriggers at a time, on any game. If you do know of one, I would like to hear about it, because to me, most other providers only talk big about their games but 'normal players' would hardly ever get them!
  2. A Magnificent game, in my books, refer to any slot game that keeps its promises, as indicated in its paytable, that keeps a player playing it again and again for many years on (not the play for a few months then game retired kind), and the kind of game that a player can rely on to get regular good decent wins of 500x or more the total bet size. Almost all new games would not provide these characteristics...they are mostly 'here today gone tomorrow' kind of games...the kind that gives a player a nice big win early on, then leaves the player with only skin and bones left. My Magnificent Six games have all been fully tried and tested, over a period of about 20 years (+ or - a bit), and have proven their reliability, even after that horrible change from Flash into HTML5 versions. Nonetheless, they no longer play or pay as good as their Flash versions, but are still very worthy of regular playing.
  3. And this winner will now be stuck with the tourneys for life! The fastest way to catch a prey!
  4. Now that's what I call a regular...an active regular! Not the 'here today gone tomorrow' kind, or the 'maybe, maybe not' kind either. Active regulars are become a rare species here in the forum, for one reason or another, and I also would like my statue to be in Askgamblers Museum!
  5. I don't really know if its the unlucky Fridays for you bro, or that you simply were playing on the wrong games. By wrong games, I always refer to megaways and allways games that promise thousands and thousands of winning lines and chances but actually giving out peanuts instead. Maybe you should try playing your better games on another Friday and see if the results are just as poor.

  7. Okaaay, so we gamblers all know what a KYC is, right? No KYC approval means no casino account to play with, including no depositing and no withdrawing of winnings. But what is KYR you may be asking? Well, it's a term I have come up with, to be useful for new members at the forum whenever they need assistance of any kind. KYR stands for Know Your Regulars, simple as that, hehehe. If you're new to this community, then you should first know that the forum is run and moderated by a team of staff, each with special duties, but moderation of the forum itself is by @cocopop3011. One new member once mistook the name for a 'he', but it's actually a 'she', so let's not confuse that again shall we? If you're not a staff member, then you are a normal member within this community. Some are active, most are passive, each having their own reasons for being so, but we are more concerned about the active regular members here, so let's get to know them very briefly. @Afi4wins Joined December 4, 2013. Is the longest active member in the forum. Has extensive experiences on casinos and games, and holds the titles of 'Playtech & Supe It Up Master' and 'Winner Screenshot Virtuoso'. Gives practical advices most of the time. @blondie Joined March 27, 2014. Holds the title of 'Queen Of Twin Spin'. Was a very active Twin Spin player but not nowadays. Likes to try out new casinos and games, but not as fervently as some years before. @Fiekie247 Joined November 4, 2015. Holds the titles of 'Casino Tournaments Master' and 'Winner Screenshot Virtuoso'. Likes to try out almost all new casinos and games, so if you have a question regarding one, try asking him first! @Flatzem Joined July 28, 2016. Has become more active in the forum nowadays. Loves doing all kinds of statistics, so much so that he's sometimes called 'The Wingman'. @Blackjax Joined June 29, 2018. One more member who likes to try out new casinos and games. There have been a few more regular members here, but they have slowly faded away, so I've not mentioned them. There are also a few newer members who are occasionally active which I have not mentioned as well, but if you want to say something about them, please do so, hehehe.
  8. I was probably the first person to see and read on the contest, and I clearly read it as 1 topic per day, for 5 entries per day, and I was the first to ask a question anyway, hehehe.
  9. I don't believe in any of those 117,649 ways or more ways to win...they are all 99,99% HYPE! Only 1 player in a million or more can ever get a win on those full lines....and most probably a streamer would get it, not real cash players. Hence I'm never interested in megaways games
  10. My Entry for today... https://www.askgamblers.com/forum/topic/13029-the-good-old-wild-and-scatter-symbols/
  11. I'm still walking down memory lanes, reminiscing the good old days of how wonderful and entertaining some slot games could be. Back then, a WILD and a SCATTER symbol would almost always be the top 2 paying symbols in any game, with the other regular symbols following behind. Getting 5 WILD symbols on a winning line would pay a very nice 250x - 500x win. Getting 5 SCATTER symbols would pay a 200x - 600x win, depending on the game. These were the two most sought after winning symbols, especially if won during a free spins feature game, whereby the win would be boosted up further by 2x, 3x, 5x or even 6x! Looking at the paytables of newer games, the WILD symbol now merely acts as a SUBSTITUTE for other symbols, to create wins...getting those WILD symbols would actually pay nothing! It has totally lost its golden value...however, at best, some games still do pay a marginal win of about 5x -20x, but that's a damn far cry from the good old days! Unfortunately, SCATTER symbols are also being treated in the same horrible way, thrashing out any win values that SCATTER symbols used to have...such a sorry and pitiful happening! Every time I look at a new game's paytable, I would see WILD and SCATTER symbols as non-paying...and find myself saying "WTF!!!" The younger generation of players simply do not know the value of those 2 precious symbols. What they see nowadays is the MULTIPLIER number instead...how big can it go...how easily can it be gotten...and that's all that matters to them. They don't care if the WILD and SCATTER symbols don't pay, as long as the MULTIPLIERS can generate huge but ELUSIVE wins of 10,000x and more. These players do not realise that they are being 'BLINDED BY THE BIG NUMBERS', so they go chasing after them day in and day out. Only when they have been bitten way too many times would they then realised the stupidity and foolishness of their chases! Nope, I will NEVER be one of them, hahaha.
  12. Recovering from the last contest? Hmmm...doesn't seem like it...after all, only 4 players got involved, so what happened to all the other regulars, right?
  13. Well, I haven't played at European casinos for ages now, except at a very few Highweb casinos, but nominating a Highweb casino for Best or Best New Casino would seem so pointless. I may be the only person nominating it! Hahaha.
  14. I had visited Venice a few times during my student days but never knew of the existence of Casino di Venezia. Would have taken a gondola ride and visited it. Too late to do that now, hahaha.
  15. Honestly speaking, I really doubt if any new game can ever make it into my magnificent team. Everything about new games are pure rubbish, beautified to look gorgeous, ornamented to appear expensive and priceless...take away all those win ways and huge multipliers and they show their true value...not even 10% worth of a magnificent game!
  16. If Pragmatic is a man, I would give him a hard slap on his head!
  17. If you're guessing that Supe It Up was the seventh magnificent game that got demoted, well, actually, nope! Hahaha. I had lost interest in the game the moment Microgaming switched it into an HTML5 version, changing everything that I had loved about the game. Have almost never played it again so far! Had it remained unchanged, in the same ways as my few Playtech games, then yes, Supe It Up would remain my number 1 Magnificent Game today. That seventh game was actually Buffalo Blitz, which I soon realised that it was a rash decision on my side to even include it into my magnificent seven team. The game has failed me on almost every occasion that I played it, couldn't even get one win of 300x or more, and I simply hate the consistently low wins of the free spins feature games...always dishing out rubbish payouts of 0x up to 10x. Yeah, that Buffalo should never have been included into my magnificent team in the first place!
  18. My 1st Entry : My Magnificent Six : Thai Paradise https://www.askgamblers.com/forum/topic/13023-my-magnificent-six-thai-paradise/?tab=comments#comment-148032
  19. Looking back to the good old golden days when slot games were limited in numbers and in types, I'd be playing mostly on fruits or animals themed games, including those themed on ancient Mythologies as well. Then Novomatic started introducing their 'Book Of Ra' game, with each spin needing only 10 cents, when most other games would need 15 - 25 cents, yet the game was offering an incredible winning possibility of 5000x the bet size. In those days, this was simply superb! Needless to say, 'Book Of Ra' quickly became one of my hot favourite games to play back then, but not now. Nowadays, you'd now find an abundance of 'Book' games, under various game titles, with many gameplay variants, and with additional special features as well. Some are very good games to play, but most are just like another book game...play them a few times, then that's it. On to another type of game. As for me, I have always been the old-school player type of person, preferring to stick to a few well-tested games, but occasionally trying out newer games nonetheless. After decades of playing numerous slot games, I now have my few favourites which I call 'My Magnificent Six'. It was on seven, but the seventh game failed to perform to my liking, so it was finally kicked out, hahaha. The top of My Magnificent Six games, as regular AG members would already know by now, is 'Thai Paradise', a 15 lines game by Playtech, with the same 5000x maximum possible win. No other book game could hold my interest for so long, or as strongly as this game could, and this may go on for many more years to come. The best part is, I have gotten all 15 of the top symbol (Thai Lady) in one of the free spins feature games, getting a whopping 5019x win at the end of it. No other book game has ever given me this kind of win, so Thai Paradise will always be my Number 1 Book Game!
  20. @cocopop3011 I have a question my dear (don't I always )... If another member has already posted a topic on one subject, can another member post a similar topic? Eg, 'My Top Favourite Slot Game' by one member, 'My Most Favourite Slot Game' by another member.
  21. Safari Heat : 122x, 129x. Thai Paradise : 54x, 55x, 88x, 96x. (Total : 152 Screenshots, 281 Points)
  22. You know very well that I am NEVER on Pragmatic's side bro!
  23. It's a standard practice everywhere bro, that's why it's required that you register the same name as in your ID every time, anywhere.
