Anti-virus programs? I never trust them 100%! There isn't any single virus program that can keep you 100% safe from these internet dangers. The best solution is to keep yourself safe all the time - so never open any email that you don't know who it is from. Don't read them, don't open them, just delete them. That will show them!

By the way, hope your antivirus program, you mentioned it is Avast, is not some cracked copy. If that's the case it won't help you much in being hit again over internet.
