Slot display glitch trolls players

Recommended Posts

Some slots have display glitches but one I recently found is AOTG: Mighty Midas, during the emerald feature. when it is showing the spinning coins , the values change instead of paying the value that is showing when the coins stop spinning. This glitch only happens on the desktop version and you can see the youtube videos of the mobile versions playing correctly but there's no videos of desktop play with the emerald feature currently that I could find. So what happens is you may get a 50 or 100 on the first coin only for it to later change to a 1 or 2. Both coins are multiplied and then they get multiplied by your stake. So if you get a 5 and 2 then 5  x  2 and then x your stake of 2eur then you get a prize of 20eur. I have had this happen on a  100 coin to turn itself into a 1 or 2. and that sucks especially on a high stake.

I went a little silly with the stakes recently doing streamer clown stakes  as high as 8 and 12eur spins then to get the emerald feature and for it to display 100 coin , that would have been at least 1200eur win even if its a  100 and 1 coins......... 100 x 1 x 12eur = 1200eur........ but the 100 changed to some 1 or 2 and then the 2nd coin was also low so the total paid only 72eur (thus only 6xBet win)... why would they leave such a glitch in there and only for it to occur on the desktop ???? why they have to play with players emotions like that. These irresponsible slot providers. I am talking about you playtech. And still no triggering of any jackpots even on 4 or 8 or 12eur stakes. Size matters on playtech right? NO! Luck matters! You can play on 20quid/20eur all day everyday and not trigger a little power jackpot ever! yet some luckbox can play on 20cents/20p and win it all. Rigged as h_e_l_l. I have probably played more spins on AOTG/Marvel slots than mega moolah yet have had more jackpots on mega moolah and still only 0 on playtech. Yet theres people out there that have had multiple jackpots on playtech including on min bet. It's not fair. I would love them to show the bet size a player used to win a jackpot when they pop up the window showing the players name and jackpot amount. Maybe I am not meant to win a jackpot on playtech no matter what stakes I play at. Why bother trying anymore.

I've had two Playtech jackpots, both on minimum bets. Many years ago now. But I've read countless jackpot stories and to be fair every one of them is a different bet size. Some with minimim bets but lots with higher bets too. I just think it's highlighted more when the bet is a minimum that's all. Just my opinion of course.

winning progressive jackpots just comes down to being a luckbox in the right time. Take for example a recent newsletter I got from casino rewards. some player in that gets interviewed about winning 2 mega moolah majors in just over a month. See this insanity.

K.Z. won CA$50,700 on Mega Moolah
at Captain Cooks Casino

Casino Rewards: How are you doing?
K.Z.: I'm happy! haha!

Casino Rewards: I could imagine, two wins in just over a month, that must be incredible.
K.Z.: It has just made my day like you wouldn't believe.

Casino Rewards: I could imagine because it's a little over double your last win so…
K.Z.: I am speechless, I am just totally shocked.

Casino Rewards: Well you know, you've got to be in it to win it, and I've seen people win progressives two, three or four times in just a few months.
K.Z.: Well I just read an article online about Captain Cooks Casino and I thought "you know what, I will try my luck". This is the only game that I play.

Casino Rewards: Have you tried any of the other progressive slots like Cash Splash or Treasure Nile?
K.Z.: No I stick to Mega Moolah. I don't know, maybe I would win on those!

Casino Rewards: I mean if you're hitting your luck on Mega Moolah, why not stick to it.
K.Z.: I know, I just can't believe it, I'm in total shock right now. I want to kind of jump to the rooftops. I just can't believe I won this again. I am going to look for a car.

Casino Rewards: Do you know what kind of car? A bit fancy?
K.Z.: I don't know yet. I really don't know. Oh my god, I'm just ecstatic.

Casino Rewards: I honestly would be if I were you.
K.Z.: This could be the best birthday present I could have ever asked for.

Casino Rewards: I bet it is, that's honestly incredible.
K.Z.: I am just over the moon. This has just made my day, man. I don't know what to say.

Casino Rewards: I couldn't think of anyone better to win today. Congratulations from everyone here.
K.Z.: Thank you very much, I'm ready to burst into tears right now. So before I do that, I'm going to go… oh my gosh. Oh wow I need to calm down.

Casino Rewards: I wouldn't be calming down, that's for sure.
K.Z.: This is awesome man.

The only thing going for them is that they have the most Mega Moolah wins... I think.

Dont know how they’re going to cope with HTML5 making most of their games unbearable but I suppose if you don’t remember the good old days....

One of the rare places iv never had an account at

Whats the issue with HTML5 at your end? I've seen some games run horrendously slow on low powered hardware but in general as long as the games are written correctly they should function at least as well as they under the old Flash platform.  Keen to hear as I'm writing a lot of HTML5 code at the moment so thanks a lot if you can share your experience!

Yep, agree Casino Rewards went down in my estimations years ago! Used to play at several of their casinos, never really had much luck at any of them but had good bonus offers. However, their reward system really sucked! It never let me exchange rewards and I soon lost interest in all their casinos.

Played there only once this year cause they sent a free 16eur bonus. They got annoying with their constant emails so I reduced that down to only weekly and monthly newsletters. Yesterday they sent me a free tenner bonus via snail mail to try out their new mega vault slot, Haven't used the freebie yet. The full colour pamphlet opens up like a vault door to reveal the amount. I once asked about any need for account verification and they said there was no need for that. No need with dealing any SOW nonsense with these guys. So I could deposit and withdraw via credit card or debit card until they stopped letting withdrawals via credit card cause of their processor. (who knows if they have fixed that up now). And as far as using a bank wire transfer from CR that would cost about 50EUR (dunno if fees have changed). They don't need to be greedy with bankwire fees. While on some other sites its free. At least make it free once a month or so.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it if done rightly: Netent appear to have converted them decently enough. MGs games are now an error ridden, clunky, slow mess. IR doesn’t even look like the original...

SG messed up theirs as well; Rhino for example is not as bad as MGs but not far behind.

So... not sure if it’s HTML5 or just lazy or cheap conversions.

Oh it's not the language, it's infinitely more efficient than Flash... I'm guessing with so many games to convert though they will have developed some kind of automated toolkit that is horribly unoptimised... just like when you write a webpage in Word and it gets injected with a hundred pages of unnecessary garbage that a good programmer will replace with about 5 lines of stylesheet.
