I'm curious to what new players look for in an online casino before signing up.

Hi and welcome to the forum., great first question.

For me -

Games and Providers

Wagering requirements

Minimum withdrawal amounts

Live chat hours - I like to test live chat before I play. Crap support will usually mean I won't play.

This topic has been around several times before this...but never mind...here I go again... ?

Bearing in mind that I have signed up and played at many hundreds of casinos...and closed my accounts at just as many casinos as well...nowadays, what catches my first interest to sign up is no longer the same as before.

#1 Deposit Bonus % PLUS Free Spins - must be 150% AND 100 Free Spins at least...otherwise, I won't be interested.

#2 MUST HAVE my few favourite games (not many left nowadays) - 1st on my list is Supe It Up (Microgaming)...not on the list and no go for me!

#3 Wagering Turnover requirement - anything above 30x deposit + bonus is a no-no for me...most of the time though.

#4 If the casino doesn't belong to Direx NV, N1 Interactive or Joc Solutions...I would skip them, unless they have all the 3 items as listed above.

#5 UKGC licensed casinos are no-go for me, so I only accept casinos having Malta and Curacao Licenses.

#6 Every other reasons are not that important to me, but withdrawal times must not be more than 2 days!

Importance in the above order! ?

And all spins needs to be given in one go...

I have been trying to find statistics on how much each casino has paid out to players.  Even if a casino is rated highly, this doesn't necessarily mean it pays out winnings often.  There is a website that shows how many visitors each casino has and it seems legitimate.  The casinos that have a much higher number of visitors, would I assume increase your odds of winning.  I have yet to find a site that shows winnings paid out per casino.  Has anyone here found a site like that?

You'll need to source their annual accounts which can be tricky in some jurisdictions.

Plus, it won't really tell you much - it'll tell you what they've paid out but, unless you have something to benchmark it against, it's pretty irrelevant.

If you're looking to see if their payouts are fair, look to see for example the ecogra audit.

If you're looking to see 'if they pay winnings' then the above will be of no use.

Unfortunately he did I think but spunked it back in

wonder if he was up by a considerable amount lifetime at that casino before the inevitable drop and it all went back in and more. I know it's hindsight now but if he had hit the peak and then lowered his bet to something reasonable like 1eur bets instead of staying on those 100eur per spin. then he would have been ok but once a player starts doing 100eur spins it would be very hard to bother doing the low spins. Cause say you get a good win on a 1eur bet then you would always be thinking if I had been on 100eur spin that would have been a 25K win instead of just 250eur win.

Yeah, I think once you go up to 100e a spin then anything lower would be extremely hard to maintain. The boredom of 'only' getting 2500 quid from a quid would see it escalate.

In an ideal world that's what i'd do if it happened to me but, whether i'd the discipline would be another thing - it would be good if you could manage that - money safe in the bank and still getting ur gambling fix knowing it's not going to skin you.

Must admit, it takes some balls roll at 100 in Superflip.

The problem the OP's story highlights is that for a gambling addict, no amount of money is ever enough. In fact, by the end of it, it's not about the money when you're rolling on amounts like that; the winnings are just to extend your play time, not to buy a house/retire a few years early etc.

beautiful wins bro, hope you cashed out

This is MADNESS, SuperFlip was one of the WORST slots when I used to do the Videoslots freerolls day in, day out... I'd almost always finish with NOTHING even getting 3-4 bonus rounds sometimes without a decent win. I mean yeah I see the stacked symbols mean big wins are certainly possible but my god at £100 a spin you must have lost a FORTUNE trying to hit those?

Back on topic ...

1. Quality of support
2. Promotions / VIP Scheme - has to be something to set them apart if I'm going to play past my welcome offers
3. Withdrawal time - No pending period, preferably <1 hour for e-wallets but happy if <24 hour processing
4. Site works on all my devices smoothly

I'll try pretty much any casino, especially if they have a no deposit bonus ... but once all the new player offers are gone, I won't go back if I have a rough time with the support, they don't offer regular, reasonably generous promotions, and ESPECIALLY if they keep my withdrawals on pending and reversible for days at a time, I just won't tolerate it.

On the plus side he got an ipad for Xmas.

Pretty expensive stocking filler.

You got that right!

If I remember correctly, he also received free Vacations sponsored by Casumo? Which he never bother taking?

Like I said before, free spins are nice, but I love that feeling when I am sure that a casino will pay me the money that I win. Some casinos just scam us, and that should not be allowed. Officially it is not allowed, but it still is happening a lot. They get you with some small clause in the contract and you cannot do anything about it. I just want a casino that I can trust on this site https://qqpkv.onl/ , it is great when you find that. You can actually play relaxed and it gives you more chances to play well and win. I think that I have found a casino like that, but time will tell.Like I said before, free spins are nice, but I love that feeling when I am sure that a casino will pay me the money that I win. https://qqpkv.onl/

Probably everyone has different ways. But the first thing I look for in an online casino is a license. This is a very important factor that many people forget. The second thing I'm looking for is feedback. No one can better tell about the casino as its players. It is also important for me what the minimum withdrawal amount is. There are other points that I pay attention to when registering, but they are less important to me.
