Monica Prather
Hi - Thank you in advance for your advice. I would be interested to know your opinions on no-bonus deposits. If I have, say, $250 to deposit - is there a higher chance of winning if I make one no-bonus deposit of the entire amount or break it up in several smaller amounts (5x50)? I titled this 'Plentiful Treasure Slot' because it's my favorite and I've hardly ever won playing other slots. Thanks -

In answer to your question, my own opinion is No. No you are not guaranteed to win more just because you deposit more. It really doesn't matter how much you deposit, there's no telling if you are going to win or lose. Same goes for betting more. Okay so if you win you're going to win bigger but if you lose you're also giong to lose bigger too.
Monica Prather
Changing it was fine - In your own experience, and giving the $250 example I gave, would you make one deposit of $250 or 5 of $50 or are you saying both are equal in chances...? Thanks -

Thanks - Well I have never deposited $250 in one go so it's hard to reflect on my own experience. But I can say if someone gave me $250 now and said you can use that to gamble I definitely would not deposit it all in one go. If I had to pick then I'd do 5 x $50 deposits. But thats just me personally.
Afi4wins
How much you deposit at a time is really irrelevant...what matters most is the state of your luck at the time of playing a game! If you're on a lucky streak, even a $10 deposit can give you a $1000 win. If not, a $1000 deposit would still go bust at the end of the day. In this sense, it is always more advisable to start with a small deposit to test the water...if no luck comes, you'd only lose a small deposit at a time. Wasting $250 in one go, to me, is a huge mistake!
pinnit2015
Pretty nondescript response with 'it depends' IMO. Bigger bankrolls give you a greater 'window' to hit the RNG at the right time, balance against the fact you can hit it with a tenner deposit...I'm sure someone from a statistical background can add more weight in terms of numbers to this. If you hit a game in the middle of a purple batch, it doesn't matter if you deposited 10 or 100 (well, maybe in terms of the fact that your stake may be higher with the 100) - similarly, if you depo 500 etc and the games dead, you lose the 500 (as AFI's said), not the 10. Basically, stick what you can afford in, hope for the best, if you bust out walk away, if it plays well pick a value to cash out and consider maybe upping a stake to that cash out amount, should you feel that well inclined. Slots are a simple game that are only made complicated by the likes of BTG with their optimal strategy nonsense
ValDes
Simple math would support the theory "More Spins, Bigger Chances" but then we all know modern online slots have little to do with simple math as there are so many other ingredients involved. such as TRTP, AI, graphical teasers, etc etc... Still, have always been fan of of deposit more, win more theory. Especially if you could afford it. pinnit2015
Kingraj
Hello Monica As others have said it doesn't matter how much you deposit if the slots gonna pay it will pay regardless of how much you deposit. My advice would be to break it up to 5 x $50 or even 10 x $25. This way you can try out different days and hopefully catch a lucky session since its all RNG with casino having more of a edge in long run. Eg 5 x $50 doing 200 spins at 25 cents Session 1: lost $15 Session 2: lost $10 Session 3: won $40 (me personally would withdraw entire balance now since I'm in profit and call it a month now) Session 4: lost $20 Session 5) lost $15 Also after each session I personally withdraw the balance remaining after x amount of spins since if the slots not paying it makes no sense to play till entire balance is zero and I at least got some money back, these few simple money management skills along with bonuses have allowed me to stay ahead of the casino. I hope this helps and wish you good fortune on your sessions. cocopop3011
Fiekie247
I personally feel that the amount plays a bit of a role but luck plays even a bigger roll. At the end of the day luck can be with your at anytime so depending on the Bet you placed at the time, really will judge if you will walk away with a huge win or not. So you can deposit $50 or you can deposit $250, however if you have a bigger bank roll you will place bigger bets lets say with $250 you will place bets of $2 - $3 maybe and with $50 you can maybe go up to $1 in the beginning while building a balance. Now just imagine hitting 15 pinks on Reactoonz with $3 compare to $1 bet, you will definitely feel the difference as the win amount will differ. So personally yes, depositing a bigger amount will have some effect as you would place a higher bet during the time of a huge win...
cocopop3011
I love how we al have different views on this! @Monica Prather Did you decide what you were going to do? Or was it just a hypothetical question?
lachlanjackson
The amount you deposit will not affect the chances of winning, if you are playing at a legitimate casino. Casinos that are legitimate use Random Number Generators to control their games, so the outcome is determined by pure randomness, and not affected by any external factors such as deposit amount. If it is affected by deposit amount, then that means the casino is rigged. To check if the casino is safe, I recommend you check if the casino is regulated by an external authority such as eCOGRA. They audit casinos to publish the payout rate, and check the use of random number generators to ensure fair game-play for the players. I hope this information is helpful to you, Monica! catapultaudio
If your going to play the same bet size regardless of how much you deposit then it really doesn't matter too much... if your going to play higher stakes on larger deposits though then as others have said it's probably worth putting it all in at once and going for broke. Even with £250 starting balance though I wouldn't bet too big, most slots only hit the feature around 1 in 150+ spins, so if you want a decent chance of hitting one you need at least 300 spins at your chosen bet size. Your plentiful treasure slot looks like fun though :) Which casino are you playing at?
