Restricting bet amount

I have been playing at wagerbeat casino for over a year now and not had any problems but this past week I have had a run of good luck, I bet between one and two dollar per bet, anyway I went to make a two dollar bet and I kept getting an insufficient funds sign pop up so I spoke to chat only to be told they had capped my bet at one dollar. I emailed them telling them I wasn't happy and they told me it was done automatically by the system because I don't bet enough money and when the system sees me spending money it may return my bet limits to normal. Has anyone else ever experienced this issue, I have played at a few casinos and have never had this happen before.

Just more casino craziness I've also never heard of such nonsense, they must have really been upset cause you won from them so they wanted to hit you back with such a  restriction.

Never heard of that : only max bet that some casinos allow you to set. By the sounds of it they are inferring that it’s somehow a form of protection, but if that was the case then you should be able to get them to override it... obviously not, so it just sounds like they don’t want you betting a lot. Certainly wouldn’t be sending them another dime.

Wouldn't spend a second more with a casino which would even afford thinking about doing this to me.

Geeez..I've never heard of that either. How bizarre. Can the restriction be lifted then? I would say I'm surprised, but these days there's so many silly terms nothing seems to shock me anymore.

I emailed WagerBeat and asked nicely for the restrictions to be removed and was told it was done by the system and they can't override it. So I told them I won't be betting with them again and asked for my account to be closed. My account is still open and they are texting and emailing me every day offering bonuses. This experience is so weird they don't want me to spend money yet they are ignoring my request to leave. I'm about to email again and request my account be closed.

I find that hard to believe. Has their system become sentinel like Terminator and now outwith their control?

Haha yeah it's definitely a bit fishy. It's a shame when you see a casino go down hill, they were great in the beginning, but now I'm glad to see the back of them.

If £2 a bet is not possible then i would withdraw and close the account.
