EUR 52.000 win was bittersweet, stuck with EUR 70.000 balance.

It all started on a Sunday afternoon, I had some time from the family and thought I'd kick the feet up, open a beer and gamble for an hour or two. EUR 500 deposit on a site returned a EUR 4000 win, then a big EUR14000 hit and my balance was EUR 20.000+.  I checked TOC's, verified my account and thought I'd withdraw some funds. Here's where the horror starts:

Casino is operating a tiered withdrawal limit based on "VIP Level".   According to TOC's, VIP level is earned through 1) depositing and 2) wagering.  After I had signed up to this casino a few weeks back, I had accumulated VIP level 4 which allows Daily €1000, Monthly €12.000 withdrawal limit, "Cool!" i thought, I'll just withdraw €1.000 daily over next 10 days and gamble the remaining balance away (in lack of respect of money).  I requested 1 withdrawal of €1.000 and immediately my VIP level dropped to 3 (now limits where 800 daily / 10000 monthly).

I found it strange, so I read through terms and conditions to see how I could reach VIP level 4 again, no mention of how the VIP levels was calculated anywhere, so I started testing. I knew from the TOC's that they stated VIP level was ratio of Deposits/Withdrawals and Wagering. So i started wagering, while I daily took out €800 as my daily limit allowed.

After wagering €10.000, my VIP level had not moved an inch. I asked the VIP manager who just stated "it moves up and down" and wouldn't give further clarification.  Locked at €800 daily/€10.000 monthly, I spent the next few days casually wagering and withdrawing to daily limit to reach higher VIP levels and increase withdrawal limits.

With 1st withdrawal of EUR1.000 pending, and 2 more with EUR800 pending I was content with the development.

........... Then ......... This happened as I was wagering to try and increase VIP levels:  (I've masked the site logo/address, don't want to cause unnecessary bad PR, i'm just looking for suggestions to best solution, but operator is Tranello )
screenshot.png.707accf12b5d2616b22ec47118907a1d.png

I'm now stuck with a €70.000 balance on a site, that will allow me a max of €10.000 monthly withdrawals, in 12 x €800 daily withdrawals to be done manually each day :D

I have 3 pending withdrawals that has not been processed for 3 days of EUR 800 x 3 - the first EUR 1.000 was processed 2 days ago, since then no processed withdrawals.

Any suggestions on how to get the best out of this situation?

A few facts:
1) They DON'T offer a "Timeout" or "Limits" on wagering.
2) They DON"T offer "self exclusion" unless they keep balance and close account
3) They DON'T offer any payout schedule or similar.
4) If I don't wager within 30 day period, they will reduce me to level 1 VIP which has 500/6000 limits.

First of all, Hi! and welcome to the forum.

Second of all, congratulations on your wins!!

From what I've read and without knowing which casino this is and knowing exactly what their terms are I guess all you can do is to speak to support to see if they will now authorize bigger withdrawal limits considering the amount you have just won.  Other than there there really doesn't seem like there is much more you can do but to withdraw at those limits and wait for it all to arrive. It's funny as we've been discussing this lately. Don't self exclude whatever you do.

If you are told you have to wait to get your withdrawals based on this limits you have to make sure you stay strong and don't wager away what's left in your account while you are waiting. Chances are you are just going to lose if you do.

So, the first withdrawal has been received in your chosen payment method? I would suggest they are now carrying out additional checks considering the amount. Is it a reputable casino you are in?

So...they basically:

  • Don't have any RG controls - player safety is top priority for them, obviously
  • Have an arbitrary payout policy, whereby they pretty much pick and choose when/if to pay players

No harm in naming if no reason other than let players know where not to play.

If it's a cornflake Curacao licence we'll have the unholy trinity.

Probably not much you can do TBH.

A casino operated by Tranello...can indeed cause many issues and problems...as I had found out at a few of Araxio-owned group of casinos. A few are pretty good, by the way, but generally, their terms may suck  a bit...or a lot.

All my accounts at Araxio casinos have now been closed, so I really cannot say more.

Congratulations on the Win and

Welcome to AskGamblers.

As Coco mentioned you need to be patient and withdraw as you can and just start playing at another casino in the meanwhile if you feel itchy slotting.

For me personally Araxio and Tranello are the same thing more or less, website design etc etc. I have accounts there but do not play there anymore, I simply cannot win on their sites if I am being truthful.

I am glad you passed verification - Since they have weird terms, Holding Selfie with ID and Selfie with ID with laptop screen in background logged into the account.

Just be patient and hope they can increase the withdrawal limits. If its 800 a day, thats atleast 24 000 a month. For that amount I would be willing to wait.

Thanks for the welcome,  No, it's a max of 12 monthly withdrawals so EUR 10.000 a month.

I was in touch with the finance department, who've changed my withdrawal schedule as they see fit, so doubt I will have even 12 monthly payouts - it seems more likely 8-10 as per their email yesterday of EUR 800 each.

It's alfcasino.com, but I have since learned that most (if not all) of Tranello sites operate exactly the same way, so zetcasino.com etc.

As an update, they now directed my attention to this clause in their TOC's:

image.png.9610834b9333e0f118a3348f4523e63b.png

So, basically they will release the funds "as they see fit".

I've been in touch with an old friend, who now resides in Cyprus as a lawyer,  he's received a copy of all emails, transcripts of chats, and has taken necessary documentation from their site, to see if this is even legal from a casino regulations in Cyprus.

Luckily, I'm in a situation where this kind of money is nice, but not life-changing, so sure I'd like to buy a new rolex, but I'd rather spend 40k of those winnings on lawyer fee's to prevent this to happening to other players that might see this as a life-changing moment winning these amounts and then being stuck on a site that is designed to keep winnings, encourage deposits and sticking it to you if you get lucky.

Being fair, I can't blame the casino for anything as of yet. I should have read the TOC's before even joining.  It was all there in writing ?

Update as of today;
1st withdrawal made Friday 5th, was received Tuesday July 9th on card.  (€1.000)  Was VIP level 4 with 1000 daily limit
2nd withdrawal made Sunday 7th was processed yesterday July 10th but not yet received (€800) Was bumped to VIP 3 immediately after 1st withdrawal with 800 daily limit 10.000 monthly.
3rd withdrawal made Monday 8th was scheduled for July 12th processing (€800)
4th withdrawal made Tuesday 9th was scheduled for July 16th processing (€800)
.....
.....
87th withdrawal perhaps February/March 2020  at the current speed.

I've requested the VIP manager, to check if a) withdrawal requests currently limited at 3 open requests can be increased so I can do a "set and forget" or will suggest alternatively b) if he can negotiate a higher withdrawal limit based on the big win, with the "finance team" they always refer to, but from last conversation with him, extremely slim chances anything will be done.

I'll update only if something interesting happens along the way that changes the current scenario.

Thats Utter BS

The fact you have withdrawal limits, but you do not have deposit limits.

BS for a casino - Normally the Araxio and Tranello group pays within 24 hours after verification, I withdew twice and got money to e-wallet in less than 24 hours, not sure why they taking 3 days to approve and then sent it. Brother, I suggest you go play somewhere else and just keep on withdrawing, stop playing,, even if VIP level drop, as this is really ridiculous.

@ValDes - is there anything else that can be done? AGCCS maybe?

There is many inaccuracies on that AG page, pretty much for all Araxio/Tranello casinos.
1) Withdrawal limits on AG is very inaccurate,  and does not mention "tiered withdrawals based on VIP level, that casino manipulates against you".
2) Pending time can easily be days, I have screenshots of withdrawals pending for 72 and 48 hours with no processing done

I suggested edits for the page, but did not hear back from AG on the review. AGCCS? I don't know if that is applicable until they break their own TOC's, which states that they control when and how much is withdrawn.

Any other suggestions appreciated, still feels a little bittersweet having to wait 7-8 months to withdraw winnings.

You really must be in a very fortunate position if you can take or leave 70k, so I'm extremely pleased for you in that respect... If this was me I would be panicking big time, though as you say the terms were all there....

If the casino isn't willing to do ANYTHING to help, not even just creating a withdrawal schedule for you, I'd definitely just login every 3 days to withdraw and keep doing that for the life of the balance. Why give them another penny? Even at VIP1 that's 6k a month on top of your income, just buy the rolex for yourself at Christmas :)

It's in my diary to get the withdrawal limits checked with the account manager and the review updated if needed.

cocopop3011That is badly needed for ALL Araxio Development sites,  https://www.askgamblers.com/owner/araxio-development-n-v-casinos

I did some fact checking 5 minutes on the first 3 (besides AlfCasino subject of this thread) on the list and highest rated by AG:

https://www.askgamblers.com/online-casinos/zet-casino-review/ Zet Casino, AskGamblers Rating 9.09.
Clause number 6.13 in their terms, https://zetcasino.com/en/rules =   There is no fixed withdrawal limits, they decide when and what limits are imposed.

https://www.askgamblers.com/online-casinos/wazamba-casino-review/, Wasamba Casino, AskGamblers Rating 8.9.
Clause number 6.13 in their terms, https://wazamba.com/en/rules =   There is no fixed withdrawal limits, they decide when and what limits are imposed.
Review states EUR 10.000 withdrawal limit, reality is EUR 6000.

https://www.askgamblers.com/online-casinos/malinacasino-review/, Malina Casino, AskGamblers Rating   https://malinacasino.com/en/info/rules
Clause number 6.13 in their terms, https://malinacasino.com/en/info/rules =   There is no fixed withdrawal limits, they decide when and what limits are imposed.
Review states EUR 10.000 withdrawal limit, reality is EUR 6000.

Not to mention AlfCasino, review says 24h processing time, well that's all good and dandy, here's a screenshot from today July 15th trying to get EUR 70.000 out in EUR 800 increments ? I'd say the processing time is more like 7 days, not 24h.

Hey there @cki81 and welcome to AskGamblers Forum.

I can see our info re Alf Casino withdrawal limits has already been fixed following your report - https://prnt.sc/of9bqv

Will personally contact the relevant content team members and help them double check our information about all the other  Araxio Development N.V. Casinos listed on our website.

In the meantime, you are more than welcome to use the Suggest An Edit feature and report any piece of info you believe to be incorrect. Thanks.
