FrozenFish
So, I just wrote a review of Wazamba casino and did read the other reviews given. All was negative with low rating. Still, the Ask Gamblers rating is 8.9 and Great. How? Does player reviews count at all?

I think 8.9 for Wazamba is review by AskGamblers if not mistaken and players have option too , to review the casino themselfs.
pinnit2015
Presumably, when AG and other sites review places they look at the cold facts, of what's on the tin: - Stated withdrawal times?, - Game selection? - Complaint responses/numbers/resolutions - Licensing? Dunno - everywhere's different. Player by player we all have different experiences - whilst there may be 'common' and reasonable player complaints (such as withdrawal times exceeding the terms - Hello, Slotsmillion), it'd be unfair i think for a site to base the sites rating purely or wholly on player ratings: eg. someone giving them a 2/10 cos a glitch in the system meant they'd to ask CS for the bonus to be credited. Just look at Trust Pilot - casinos given 2/10 cos someone lost. To be fair to AG - they do give you the average player rating so you can make your own mind up as to whether something seems amiss. One option would be to include player ratings in the official site rating but that would, i think, not be the best. Maybe review if there are a deluge of poor ratings? Site rating, player rating and comments and let the informed player determine which side he falls down on. One thing as well - many casinos start off well and then tail off. The rating given could be reflective of a point in time and as they've not going to playing every day, they'll rely on the information they receive from players via ratings or, more importantly, complaints to review that. Just surmising. Fiekie247, cocopop3011 and ValDes 2
Fiekie247
Same reason some casinos does not look well when you look at their reviews, or the fact that they do not have any reviews or information, but then they surprise you with instant withdrawals, wager free bonuses and good terms. I like these surprises. FrozenFish and cocopop3011

I like these surprises. Player sends in supermarket loyalty card, not their passport - complains casino delay verification. Player rates as poor. Player loses. You know, gambling. Complains. Player rates as poor. Player breaches max bet, despite big giant pop up box. Complains. Player rates as poor. Player's are fickle things - look at Casumos Trust Pilot review. Yeah, they might be as tight as a ducks ar@@ with bonus's but they're not a sub 4/10 casino. Hey Please keep in mind there are dozens and dozens of certain parameters and facts taken into account when calculating AG Casino Rank Score for an operator. So, players ranking is taken into consitheration, but probably not so much, then? I surely can understand why. I read "reviews" where people have lost $20 and rate the casino 1-star.. or as posted above... breaking rules and then write bad review. Maybe a "Trusted Reviewer" algoritm could be applied? ValDes
Glad that you have found what you've been looking for.
