Afi4wins
Cover the 3 digits with tape, then take the photo. DO NOT show the digits...NEVER! RaX and cocopop3011 1
pinnit2015
Common practice across casinos - it’s apparently to show you’re the owner of the account. Just make sure to use their upload facility - I wouldn’t send it in email. I say apparently because anyone with some skills and, say a 3D printer, could mock it up I’d have thought there are some cardholder not present codes that would stop John Smith making a payment with his card details into Peter Greens casino account and/or some kind of sort code account number look up to show the card is in your name. Maybe not. Some online sites wouldn’t let me pay something using my mates card etc, some do... Anyhow, I digress. How safe? If it’s uploaded via an encrypted portal, they have a good data protection policy and if the number of people who can view it are limited/monitored then yes, it’s a safe as it can be... blank out the CVV number.... pinnit2015
Or you could just send me the pictures and I’ll send them on

honestdude
I joined Bettson a few days ago but like I just read, I had asked if I can supply documents prior to enrolling and depositing so that I am covered with no surprises ifI win and need to withdraw but they told me that they would not upload documents until I needed to withdraw cause they wouldn't verify til then. Not a safe practice at all. They have been rated highly but as per Valdez fats, long ago, do not give them the CCV numbers but I heard they demand them. Weird. Never heard of one casino, let alone a massive one like Betsson, demanding to see your CCV number so I'd take whoever told you that with a pinch of salt... As for not being able to pre-verify - i agree. There was one casino, and i think it was the BML group, who said i couldn't send my docs in until i was ask. Which is nonsense. Afi4wins
A few casinos allow you to upload your documents online via their website, but those won't get approved until the right moment has come. My docs at one casino has remained pending for over 1 year, yet I'm still getting my small withdrawals paid without any hassles...I guess until I break that 2000 EUR limit, then only the verification would kick in. pinnit2015
pinnit2015
Speaking of upload facilities some of the MT sites need to fix theirs. Every time i go into one of mine it says verified, then the next day it has an X saying 'docs requested' My favourite is when a casino says your ID has expired. Really? I've expired, like a bottle of milk that's turned to cheese?- Gees, that's for telling me Mr Casinoman In terms of Fiekie, that casino would be found to be in violation of their licence terms if they did that, certainly under the new UKGC rules. Doing what they are doing only serves one purpose - to postpone any withdrawal request. My BS detector says no.

There is certain logic in refusing to accept your paperwork unless specifically requested to do so and that's mainly concerning avoidance of all GDPR requirements and procedures they must follow once your docs are with them. Not saying that's practice worth to be praise though, not at all... Re CVV numbers - totally unacceptable! Once you have been asked to do so by any online casino operator, AGCCS, immediately! cocopop3011

My mistake, wasn't Betson, Bitstars is who told me they wanted to not approve my documents until I needed to withdraw. I just like to ensure I am verified before I even deposit to play so they don't have to come back at me later and refuse for whatever reason. Due to this, I did not deposit. ValDes
Alright, thanks for the important clarification. Have just edited and changed accordingly the name of the affected operator in your title but you should do the same with your posts and make sure to mention the correct name. Afi4wins
Once verified, BitStarz pays with lightning speed...mine took 5 minutes on average...maybe even faster for some other players...so just get your account verified as soon as possible! jointroller
Yeah, its standard. However serious casinos do tell you to cover all the digits except first 4 and last 4 of your card number (and name). The rest you should cover for your own safety, especially the CVV2 number, never show that to anyone!!
