MT Secure Issues

Anyone having any issues with MT?

Started in January when i went to sign up to Wishmaker. Complete registration, 'User was self excluded'. Stop. No I'm not: accounts held with High Roller, Rizk, Cashmio and many other (in many cases sub standard MT sites)

Contacted Wishmaker who said this has been happening with a few people - said they would contact IGC to look into this. Took 4 weeks. Came back and said sorry about that - SE lifted and can now login. Try to. Can't. Ah but now it's the cool off period - for a fictional SE, I don't understand that, but anyway....Still Can't. Now it's due to me not verifying - they then tell me that 'due to UKGC rules I must be KYC'd before i can login. Whoaa....now, I know UKGC rules and AFAIK they have 72 hours to verify me when I register. 72 hours have passed as they (or IGC) have made a horlicks when i signed up. The reason this is an issue now is because.....they want me to EMAIL documents. Well, no. I'm not even going into encryption issues with chat support.

Then, i tried to register another MT - more so out of curiosity to see if it's ok (other older MT sites are obviously fine). And again the same thing happens.

Mild conclusion is that upon registration they are looking my data up against someone who is SE (now, that leads me to questions over how they're handling data in general) - I've asked them to explain exactly what the issue is - obviously, when they are manually looking at it when i complain they can see it's wrong as they're taking the SE off straightaway.

The other issue is that after telling them that i'm not emailing documents, they ignore and tell me 'send them to this address'. Sorry, no.

So far both are ignoring me asking why i'm being flagged so I'm probably going to do a Subject Access Request to see for myself.

Wouldn't surprise at all if your registration nightmares have been caused by inadequate integration with Gamstop services. Seems like their database is causing some serious issues not just with Mt Secure brands but with all the participating companies, at least this is what I'm hearing lately from both players and casino reps.

Curious to know how all this will end up for you though.. Asking paperwork via email is kinda classic approach towards GDPR compliance. :D ?

Good shout re Gamstop....just adds to the mix: is it Gamstop, MT's people or whatever. I'm speaking to someone in MT so hopefully will find out.

I did enjoy the reply from MT to my 'what other medium to you have for me sending in KYC as I'm not emailing'. Got a reply, again, please send to the email address. Must have cotton buds in their ears.
