Spin Palace casino ( bad reviews )

Recommended Posts

Hello guys, im new here and im glad i found this website, askgamblers.

im doing a lot of reading here about casinos reviews and i would like to share a bad experience at Spin Palace casino. They blocked my account and confiscated my money ( usd 895,65 ). I sent emails and been to live chat asking for reasons why i was blocked etc... they dont tell me. They simply decided to. Im an online player for years, never had any problems but with Spin Palace casino. I want to understand why a casino can get away with stealing? I think terms and conditions should be applied to casino as well.

I am now, feeling that i cannot trust online casinos anymore. They stole my money. I made usd 300 deposit on friday, won something, and my total was 895,65 when they confiscated my money. I already contacted Ecogra, MGA and others representatives.

Has any of you been in the same situation?6F2900B6-2305-47C6-96DF-8133E3E3B7D2.thumb.png.ecf1351fbef63b54d19d1ccdca99dcea.png

Hey there and welcome to AskGamblers Forum :)

Well, if you check their review you'd find out we've placed a warning for Spin Palace long time ago :(

Quote

Warning: Spin Palace Casino is being assigned an official warning due to the fact they are currently holding a massive amount of unresolved complaints from players reporting unjustified confiscation of winnings, extremely delayed or totally denied payments, various stalling tactics and denial of cooperation and players support.

Meaning using AGCCS wouldn't help much as they've chosen not to engage into further communication regarding any of their complaints here. Therefore, what I could advice in this situation is to forward the matter in front of the relevant regulatory body and arm yourself with patience as their complaints process could last for months.

Thank you, ValDes. I regret i didnt reaserch before putting money there. They simply confiscated without any reason. Lets spread the word against all casinos owed by The Palace Group.

im so angry that will take months. Meanwhile, spin palace will continue robbing people ?

Once upon a time the downloadable microgaming casinos were all I played, I started there, had some success and figured better the devil I knew then to explore much further. After a couple years of steady play, despite being rather high up their vip chart I found that the bonuses and promotions I was being offered were no different than someone with zero history or vip ranking and felt a tad under appreciated, the nail in the coffin was being told that year.. 3 I believe there was nothing in the system for my birthday dispite having had decent bday bonuses previous years and not a damn thing under the Christmas tree for a long time regular player.. so I started looking at the alternatives and never looked back...

imagine my surprise to discover that it wasn’t mandatory everywhere to have a 48hr reverse/pending period and then a couple more days of payment processing before one could hope to see their winnings.. That bonuses didn’t come standard everywhere with 50x bonus+deposit wagering terms, that such things as cashback, weekly loyalty rewards and zero wagering freespins existed... yet alone that I could have my winnings in hours or even minutes..

That there were countless other game providers that had more interesting games and play styles, hourly races, helpful support staff, goodwill bonuses... my mind was blown.. so many wasted wins that didn’t survive my impulse to reverse and play more 30 hours later.. so many missed rewards and loyalty bonuses for someone who played as much as I did.. and did I mention cashouts in a matter of minutes??

while I never had any trouble getting paid by the old school mg sites as I knew the terms and conditions inside out and backwards, I still seldom saw my winnings because of the insane reverse/pending period mixed with my penchant for immediate gratification.. so i still felt robbed ?

many it it turned out were much like me and left in droves to greener pastures, but the mg sites did nothing to try to modernize.. I often refer to them as being on par with bell telephone or sears catalogue stores.. they owned the market for so long they felt no need to bother with silly things like worrying about customer satisfaction or preferences.. and along came eBay, Amazon, broadband telephone providers, low cost all inclusive cellular plans etc to seize the gift wrapped consumer base bell, sears et all didn’t value  enough to understand or provide for, instead chuckling to themselves about the silly fads that dared to think they stood a chance against such deeply entrenched institutions such as them...

In the same manner many fresh upstart casino brands had consistent, loyal, repeat customers happy to jump ship and rocket them to success for doing little more than just offering friendlier, faster service and not closing shop overnight and vanishing with the customers deposits...

while microgaming itself pivoted well and used their established products and name brand to diversify and remain relevant.. the massive casino groups they built didn’t fare quite as well.. some would call that karma.. others capitalism..

long story short.. while some of the old names are still in operation after folding scores of their sister sisters and clientele under a single roof.. even if they were completely trustworthy and hadn’t suffered some serious self inflicted reputation tarnishing along the way.. they’d still be irrelevant, outdated and not worth your deposits... because their terms still suck, pending periods are still ridiculous, bonus conditions predatory and customer service.. shoddy at best.

its unfortunate you had to learn through experience, but luckily there are great sources of information and player feedback available through sites like AG to make the next pick a little safer and better informed ?

welcome to the community,

cheers!

And moreover regulators like MGA, which they have, don't give two hoots in the main if players struggle to withdraw their legitimate winnings. Then, although wrong, a casino makes a mistake and send a marketing email to a self excluded player and all of a sudden we are into fines just shy of half a million.

But hey, as long as they pay their licence fees within the 30 day prompt payment target, who cares.

Like to see what happens to their licence if they didn't pay their dues ?

I'd give casinos a three strike rule  -3 unjustified witholding of monies and kaboom. Licence revoked. Easy peasy - just get real time updates from ADR'S as to the status of complaints.

I went through some of the UKGC licensed operators a bit ago and was astounded to see that some, whom i wouldn't even give a dog licence to, had one.

Hopefully we get to the point of 'Letting the Market Decide' - whereby the good ones push the not so good out from their current position. I doubt it will happen but the good sign is that players, though sadly not in the OP's cases, are more clued up and less likely to fall foul of BS casino's.

I think you've basically described 32 Red ?

Smartphone domination  - Apple etc - Nokia chucked it.

Home Computing? - the famous quote by IBM at the time in the late 70's 'Who wants a machine in their house?' (though they diverged to still become hugely successful)

You don't need to go backwards to go backwards: you just need to standstill whilst others do what you do - only better.

Hi The Average Guy, perfect your text !!! I think i will open my mind and drop Microgaming slots, wich i loved too. I started reading askgamblers site to decide wich casino is trutsworthy. Bye bye microgaming. Lost my money and my faith. Sad thing is that i never, ever thought that a casino could simply confiscate your own money.

i hope Ecogra, MGA can take theire lincese.

They literally just said 'management decision'?

Did they not even highlight the terms of the t's and c's that were apparently breached?

Yeah, many casinos can, and do, witholding winnings from people (not the good ones) - it doesn't even make sense half the time from a purely business POV, even if you are ropey: Why withhold a grand from someone when you know, in all likelihood, that you'll see it put back again over the coming months. No one beats the house edge overtime, unless they walk away.

The good news is you can still play microgaming slots at many other reputable, trusted and well run casinos, keep the part you liked, add more value on top and eliminate the negative. With that said though, I would suggest always making yourself very very familiar with both the terms and conditions and bonus terms found on any site you choose to play at, it's amazing how often wins are lost because a player failed to abide rule 872, paragraph 7, subsection c5.. and so therefore sadly can only blame themselves (or rather will be the only one held to blame) when the casino executes its right to void everything and close your account as you agreed to when you joined and it was written somewhere that joining, using, accessing the site and the games is accepted as your implicit consent to abide by each and every term of those two rambling sets of fine print regardless of how insane or predatory in nature they may be..

While I would never advise someone read the terms word by word before agreeing to install windows (though since no one in history ever did, we may all have already pledged our eternal life force to our master microsoft) too many have learned the hard way that a contract with an online casino should not only be read.. but completely understood before handing over your deposits or expecting to receive wins.
