Criteria Fieldwork (https://www.criteria.co.uk/) are looking for individuals to take part in a 30 minute telephone interview with a researcher from Jump Innovates (http://jumpinnovates.com/). 

 

We’re looking for Bingo/Casino bettors who have deposited or withdrawn/attempted to withdraw large amounts of money.

We will just need to have a short screening call with you to verify your eligibility and hopefully to arrange an interview with you. If you are eligible and take part in the interview, we would transfer £90.00 to you as a thank you.

I personally have serious concerns about this £90 I wonder how much personal info is gathered whilst trying to meet the criteria?? For 99.9% of candidates not meet said criteria??

That’s why we have the ICO and with the fines that can now be levelled, I’d hope that was a good enough incentive ;-)

 

When you use your Tesco Clubcard data’s being collected; from the area in which you use it, to the goods you purchase, using it at 430pm May suggest you work to 4 etc etc :-p

Lest not forgot that from KYC and everything else, casinos are holding enough information to sell as an Identity Theft toolkit - from passports to bank details to addresses to DOB's.

It's a bit like paid online surveys....you go through 10 minutes of questions only to be told that you're not 'in their demographic'. But by that time they've already collated the info they require anyhow (should you submit).

I mean to get guaranteed 90 bucks is just to write 18 honest reviews, compare to the survey which is "Eligibility" that always come at a later stage as an issue.

 

The eligibility factor is almost like regret that always come afterwards/too late and there is nothing you can do about it...

I completely understand your reservations but the only reason that we are withholding the amount is to ensure that we get legitimate answers. 

 

All the information we gather is used for the purpose of this research project only and will not be shared beyond Criteria Fieldwork or Jump Innovates. Your contact information will not be used to recontact you unless it is directly in connection with this specific market research. Your data will not be used to direct marketing to you. 

 

If at any point, you wish for your information to be deleted, we will do so. 

 

If you are not selected to take part, we will not retain any data at all. 

 

Here is a list of questions on our screening questionnaire:

 

 

- Gender

- Age

- Occupation of Chief Income Earner in your household

- Employment status

- Occupation of respondent if not Chief Income Earner

- Leisure activities

-Online games played

- Gaming sites used

- Most you have staked in any single month

- Most you have attempted to withdraw in one go

- When this happened

- Proof of funds/address asked for by a gaming site and details of this

- Gaming sites used, how often, how long ago

 

And, if selected:

- Contact details to arrange interview

- BACS details (Sort code and Account number- which we can only use to pay you)

We operate under the guidelines of the MRS and within GDPR legislation. If you are not selected, we will not keep you information. It will never be passed to our client, Jump Innovates, nor to any gaming sites, casinos etc.

You can chat to me on the phone for 5 minutes, I will not take any identifiable information until we have verified if you are eligible and if you change your mind or are not eligible, I will delete any anonymous information I have recorded about you.

I can reveal that we have no quotas on demographics for this one, only information we'd like to record to give the researcher a broader picture for the interview. Our only requirements are gaming/betting-related.
