I am wondering whether its worth chasing the 2nd place, because I cant even begin to imagine, how much spins and money I might need to lose in order to get x200 + win in this slot.

Decision about what? I'm kinda confused. The original post clearly didn't state anything about how many posts someone needed to have. I'm using Askgamblers for over half a year now just never saw the need to register because I am more of a reader than an active poster. When I saw this tournament though I thought why not since I appreciate playing Pragmatic slots anyway.

Okay guys we've been discussing this and here is how it is going to go -

 

When the contest came to us there was no rule from PP regarding the minimum number of posts a member needs in order to qualify. Which is why when Fiekie mentioned this before I also replied saying this wasn't a rule.

 

However, upon light of recents events we have decided to enforce the following rule -

 

- Participants must be an active member in the forum. An active forum member is considered a member with at least 10 days of registration and a minimum of 50 forum posts. Posts from the Trivia section do not apply.

 

In regards to the screenshot posted by @lassejay then this will be accepted into the contest. I appreciate many of you will think this is unfair however I cannot disqualify lassejay for a rule that has only now been implemented.

 

If anyone has any questions or is unhappy with this please feel free to send me or Valdes a PM.

I'm not disgruntled myself, my original post with the quote of your ss was entirely tongue in cheek and in jest, however I did just watch a very similar situation go down on another contest not long ago and the members en-masse were VERY upset about someone who had never participated in the community swooping in and winning the "community exclusive" grand prize.

 

I can see the situation from both sides and as the one who broke no rules who was just doing what everyone else was doing I'd expect my entry to be counted as well, but on the flip side, it is a very good example of why such a rule is helpful because we're not just talking about one entry when we look at the principal of the matter.

 

The established user-groups invited/targeted for "exclusive" contests/appreciation that sites/companies are trying to show appreciation for/kindness to can turn on them like a pack of starving hyenas when their promo reward is won outside the community by someone who is typically never seen or heard from again.

 

If it's available for anyone.. then it's not really exclusive is it? ;-) They host all kinds of those, hit any casino on any given day of the week and you'll find em.
