Blueprints Megaways

Recommended Posts

Blueprint are rolling out more and more of their older games, revamped with the BTG Megaways licence. To be honest, i think they've all been a bit poor until now - Diamond Mind, despite having the same paytable as Bonanza, is a cheaper version of the game whereby you're lucky to hit 200 x plus even with 20k spins (yeah, i know Bonanza's bad as well)

But Genie Jackpots is a surprisingly decent game. I've always wanted to like BP games - they're fun and they have the random feature in them, which normally is better than the bonus. But they (did?) pay rubbish.

Put 20 and played GJ and, though not having a 300x plus win, had a lot of 200-250x wins and the balance had shot up to 750. Paytables not as good and there is no cascading win but the random Genie feature can be decent - especially the Wild Desire esque Genie wilds.

If the games in the mood it reminded me of years ago when i enjoyed slots ( i still do but it's not as much as it was)

Not sure if the the Maths was transferred as part of the deal with BTG - it does make me wonder as BP specialise in low variance games so, either they engaging in market diversification, or the Megaways isn't quite as Mega as we've been told  <_<

Summary:

1. Don't bother buying the bonus - Sky Vegas removed it.

2. Bonus rounds - you want the unlimited multiplier or the sticky respins. The one that turns into a symbol from a ? mark is awful.

3. The Genie Wilds are where the bulk of my 250x plus have come from

4. The volatility appears to soar with stakes of 1 quid plus  -_-

5. Megaways is something like 15k in this one - you'll normally get under 1k though. If lucky, 2k

I'm up on it approx 1000 over 2 days but it would have been more if it didn't eat the 1-2 quid spins.

Max cash win from it was 570 on 2 quid which isn't great but given that the lamps come in regularly if it's in the mood, you can hit 200x's in quick succession.

Thanks for sharing all that interesting info, Mr PinniT. :good:

Truly appreciate your efforts and even planning to give the aforementioned game a decent try any time soon... Not that I hold much of a choice really since NetEnt is restricted for me anyway and BTG's Bonanza and DHV have been absolutely brutal. :(
