My thoughts about this website and casinos in general

This website is usually siding with the casino protecting their questionable conduct. I experienced this first hand recently when I wrote an honest review about my own casino experience. That review has been deleted and I was told to submit a complaint instead. That complaint has been rejected as well. Only when you write a positive review, no matter how useless that review is for others that will get approved. I realized I'm not the only one who went through this here. So the casinos on this website have mostly positive reviews and you don’t suspect anything until you actually try to play at that casino and they confiscate all your winnings based on some sentence in one of their many different terms and conditions documents - "accidentally" a document that cannot be find as easily as their other terms. When you play in a casino, you need more verification that a casino is reliable, not just from this website or your own experience but also from other websites or people who you personally know. What I really recommend is to find less than five casinos during your lifetime where you will always play. If you try any other casino, especially if it belongs under questionable jurisdictions like Curacao, Malta, Gibraltar etc., you have zero protection. Basically - if you can sue them in the country where you live, you are probably safe to play there.

I recommend everyone to try the YesNoCasino website because it serves as someone’s hobby to rate casinos, it’s not their business like this one. This one dies if casinos have mostly negative reviews. That speaks volumes. And that’s why honest feedback like this, be it about the website or about a certain casino, gets deleted.

If anyone had any questions about my experience with that particular casino I wrote about at the beginning, I’ll be happy to elaborate.

I’m including a picture from my chat with a “support agent” where Ive asked why has my review been deleted and also if I’m allowed to write dishonest reviews on this website (e.g. claiming a casino is good when I had a bad experience). YES YOU ARE ALLOWED. This is a joke. And arrogance at it's finest.

Iv personally left negative reviews of casinos on here. My only gripe with the process is that some of them have taken several rewrites after getting removed. Think it was for the reason of ‘this is a complaint’. Well no, if it was a complaint I’d submit one. Being asked to talk about negative aspects of a casino and sounding like a complaint sometimes go hand in hand, so personally some of the rejections have appeared over zealous.

I must add that after tweaking my English they were all approved.

You will find many reviews here with unbearably bad English. I’m no great English speaker myself but I can be understood clearly compared to what can be often seen here.

I also wonder about your disregard for their support representatives who claim it doesn’t matter if you post dishonest reviews on the site as long as you adhere to their terms. It’s an extreme turn of policy compared to what is written everywhere on the site about honest reviews. It’s all just blah blah blah then. This adds to the experience that this website along with SOME online casinos create their conditions as they find suitable. I still hope to be proven wrong. But you can’t submit complaints or reviews for a casino if you had a negative experience plus a very unpleasant support person says you can just write a dishonest review. What a disappointment.

Just read the message from the support agent - hopefully it was just a boilerplate response but yeah, certainly not the best response!

I think you're always going to have that conflict between a company that offers two different services - in this case, as an affiliate and as an impartial complaints service. In my last job we had the same - we had one area of the company who were going out auditing the company but the same company also availed themselves of 'consultancy' days for systems development. Obviously, the conflict here is that the auditing service gives a bad report....company no longer wants the (lucrative) consultancy days, hence the issue here was that the audit report was watered down to keep the other side happy.

That, per se, isn't wrong. It just means that you have Chinese walls/controls/different reporting structures to reduce the risk of that happening (and it still does happen in the financial services world)

I'll not proclaim to state what AG's position on this is however.

The other option would be - not an affiliate but you'd pay to use the service  :p

There are very few sites that don't in some form act as an affiliate and I suppose it's a question of reputation and if they're seem to be acting/are impartially. Lives and dies by.

The flip side is that as the service has a relationship with the casino it may see things like complaints resolved better etc.

I am sorry Solun...but I totally disagree with you!  :p

If you read my reviews, most of the casinos cannot even get pass the 5-Stars rating from me...and a huge number of casinos only got 3-Stars and 4-Stars ratings!

I always say and write all sorts of negative reviews on every casino...but they are meant to be constructive and not destructive! Perhaps this is where the difference is! You name it...I have written about it...from the casino's bad platform...to badly playing and paying games...to very bad lags and connection errors...to unresponsive customer services...and whatever else...nothing gets pass me without me putting a word about it!  :p

Saying bad things about any casino, without any evidence, or any explanations, as to what or how it had happened, then it is just like 'empty talk'...which Askgamblers cannot ever accept as a worthwhile review to be published! The same thing goes with any unfounded praises as well...which is still the same as an empty talk.

Browse the casino review section here, search for my reviews, read them, then let me know what you think. I have written well over 1400 reviews, and a few did get deleted/removed in the past, so even a very experienced reviewer like me is not an exception to getting my review removed!  :p

Thanks for your answers guys. I took extra care writing that review and then a complaint. I named all the terms and conditions that I have read exactly as they are named on the casino's website. I also named the one terms page that I didn't read because I was not pointed towards that page from anywhere on that website, I was only given a link to it AFTER they confiscated all my winnings. So I did honestly accept in my review that I broke their terms. I stated that I believe that a reputable casino has clear and transparent terms and conditions and therefore I gave it a bad rating - because I didn't break their terms on purpose - it was not my intention. I believe I have read more terms than 99% of actual players do. Reading documents called "full promotion and terms", "Promotional terms", "Website terms and conditions" (in some parts of the site called "Terms & Conditions") and "Significant promotional terms and conditions" - reading just one or two of these pages should be enough to get all the info you need to play. They even have "Loyalty points general terms". If you play in a casino and are in a constant fear of breaking an unknown condition hidden in one of their several terms and conditions pages, that is not an enjoyable experience. Even Mark Zuckerberg has been recently accused by the Supreme Court that his terms and conditions are a mess; but they are crystal clear compared to the mess of terms and conditions of some casinos. And facebook is not handling and storing customer's actual money. That's why I'm saying that people should just find a reputable casino and play there and nowhere else no matter how much they try to lure you in with deposit bonuses elsewhere. Because they will not let you have the win anyway.

Just to explain - the clause that I broke says that players from my country are not eligible for the welcome bonus. It's written in a document called Standard promotional terms and conditions. During a deposit and in most parts of the site, you are shown Significant promotional terms (I think that not being eligible for the welcome bonus is significant but it's not written there) or Full promotion and terms.

So I disagree with you but I appreciate your input. Enjoy reliable casinos. Because many are reliable according to the reviews here. Honest negative reviews are deleted and people will never know all the documents they have to read because no one can tell them, at least not on this website. Dishonest positive reviews are encouraged by "support agents" (lol) themselves.

Your points taken mate.  ^_^

The thing is, if a complaint is submitted, but a casino rule has clearly been broken, then AGCCS can only reject it...simply because it becomes a black & white issue. No sense in trying to fight a lost cause in the first place. This may have been the cause with your complaint rejection...I don't know...and may also have been the cause for your review deletion too.

It's a subjective matter...one person's view may not always reflect another's view...and may not always be right either...even though that person in charge has the power to remove any review he deems unfit for publication.

However, needless to say...Askgamblers is never always right...nor always in the wrong either! Nothing and no one can ever be perfect. It has been proven that even the judicial system has had a few innocent people to be wrongfully sentenced to jail, and even to the death penalty! Why? Simply because the 'wrong' evidences were more convincing than the 'truth'...so a wrongly sentence got passed!  :p

I don't know if it's worse to be sentenced to death or having your win confiscated after you finally have that big win  :D . But because I knew it's a lost cause, I just wrote a review, I didn't even submit a complaint in the first place. I did it just because support told me to. Which was a stupid advice anyway, it was clear from the beginning I won't get the win.

Nope, this is not a joke nor an arrogance, not at all... This is simply a typical example of a chat host using one of the so called canned responses in a hurry and without reading very carefully each and every one of your last words. A mistake which certainly has nothing to do with arrogance obviously.

Your so called "thoughts" on the matter though are close to the point of being called dishonest and arrogant though! Simply because these have absolutely nothing to do with the truth and reality...

Your removed review as follows:

Positive Comment: Nice website
I was satisfied with game selection
I would love to write "50 characters or more" of positive stuff here but unfortunately I do not find as much positive about this casino to fullfil this condition :))

Negative Comment: I have screenshots and videos of most of the wins, withdrawal requests, talking with support agents etc. so if anyone is interested in a proof, just send me a message and I will be happy to share that what I post here is 100% accurate.

PS.: The incredible wins that I had when I won thousands of euros every couple of minutes and still managed to complete wagering requirement of 35 000€ was truly interesting. I did not encounter that at any casino yet and I have been playing since 2009. Too bad that all the players from restricted countries have these wins. They are all confiscated. Their slots fulfill the payout percentage very easily thanks to this. The downside is that players from allowed contries do not get those wins that we got.

PPS.: I have no idea why is my country on their restricted list. Basically any casino you can imagine is accepting players from my country as we are a casino friendly place both online and physically.

The deletion message you have received after the review removal as follows:

Comment has been deleted due to violation of AskGamblers Posting Guidelines, section Complaints. Please make sure to check all Posting Guidelines here - https://www.askgamblers.com/posting-guidelines

We would like to remind player that in case of having any issue with the casino our complaint service should be used instead of casino's review page. https://www.askgamblers.com/submit-complaint-p47. For complaint submission guidelines, please follow instructions provided on the video tutorial - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZv4kojNsBo&feature=youtu.be

In addition to all the explanations you had two chats with our Live Chat agents and you have been explained everything about your review removal twice. Oh, and you seemed to accept it pretty normally though - https://prnt.sc/j8uw4p

Then comes the funny part... You decided to follow the advice given by our reps and in fact, submitted a complaint against the casino. The complaint has been rejected of course since you committed a blatant terms violation by registering and playing from a restricted country  Check Republic. That is why you got the following rejection message:

Upon reviewing your complaint we found out that you have acknowledged the violation and/or not adhering to of one or more of the casino and/or bonus terms. Please keep in mind that in case of a violation of the casino or bonus terms and regardless of the fact whether you consider these terms as fair or not, AskGamblers Complaints Team is not able to help you, because we are adamant in our position that the rules are set in place to be respected and followed. All matters concerning the fairness of a particular casino or bonus term/s you could address directly to the relevant regulatory body which is the only authority capable to void that rule or force the casino management to change it.

For your convenience, please find below the relevant term which you agreed and accepted upon joining the casino and which unfortunately you violated and/or not adhered to:

"5.12
Players from a Restricted Territory (as defined in the Website Terms) and, for the avoidance of doubt, the following countries are not permitted to receive the first deposit bonus (welcome bonus/opening offer) and or any deposit bonuses unless otherwise stated: Armenia, Poland, Greece, Cyprus, Hungary, Croatia, Ukraine, India, Russia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Estonia, Georgia, Lithuania, Latvia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, and Serbia."

All the rest is simply pathetic insinuations on your behalf which has nothing to do with the truth you speak so much about.

By the way, for your information, probably 55% among the five digits amount of player reviews we got so far is negative. :p

With all that being said, I believe you would realize (hopefully!) that the real problem here is not AskGamblers and the fact they we are only following our terms and procedures, BUT your own refusal to accept your own fault in NOT following neither our own terms nor the casino ones.

You'd better use the occasion to learn your lesson. Although I have some serious doubts you would ever do that considering your malicious way of representing and manipulating the facts... :(

Farewell!

I’ve had many boilerplate responses given - eg, when mrs Pinnit asked if there was milk left for coffee I instinctively said yes. Without thinking.

There wasn’t.

***** on Earth ensued when there was also no coffee.

Happens to us all ;-)

  And I would simply get furious too if I couldn't get my daily strong mug of coffee...but living alone...I can only fight with myself!  :D

Every day I fight with myself afi. Play Bonanza Paul. No, I won’t succumb to the evil genius of BTG. Play bonanza. Hit my head furiously.

You’d think I’d learn.

Hahaha...I must admit...the same goes for me with Supe It Up too! The only difference is...I don't go hitting my head furiously...I simply use a lot of my one-finger salutes! Hehehe.  :p
