Casino refusing my withdrawal because I haven't wagered enough money?

Recommended Posts

I don't do alot of gambling but whenever I join a new site I always make a small (£20-£30) deposit, play for about 15 minutes on low-stake games and then withdraw, so I can get a feel for the site, their games and see how well they handle transactions, verification etc.  I've done this probably 20 or more times and never had a problem.

I joined ComeOn Casino yesterday, did my usual thing and withdrew £20.  Now they've emailed me saying they rejected my withdrawal because I haven't spent enough money....

When processing your withdrawal we noticed that you haven't yet fully wagered your most recent deposit, meaning there was not enough activity on Casino or Sportsbook between your last deposit and withdrawal.

Before we are able to accept the withdrawal, we need to see further game play to fulfil this requirement or we'd like you to get in touch with us. This is a standard requirement for all our customers and a rule which we have to enforce to comply with the requirements of our gambling license.

Is this nonsense or what?    How is this a part of their gambling license, and they even allowed to do this?

Yeah, I get this is only very small amounts, and I could just play (and probably lose) some more but that's not the point.

Well at ComeOn you need to playthrough your deposit 1x - How much did you deposit and how soon to depositing did you try to withdraw?

It's not nonscence - You'll find it in their terms and conditions somewhere but basically you just need to playthrough some more of your deposit before you can withdraw. And since you said you only deposit small amounts I'd imagine you're almost through it all? Presuming you didn't take a bonus?

IMO They’re by no means a dodgy operator but last time I checked they were a Netent only casino and had pretty rubbish bonus terms of 70 wagering.

Unless the OP comes back and say he was asked to play his deposit x2 or above
