    OK... after a pretty decent run on Bet Victors flash DOA the other day it made me think how much i loved this game pre HTML5. It was like the old DOA - 3/4 wilds coming in consistently in the first 5 spins. No wild lines but some decent hits on 90p as well. And there's the difference - old DOA i did decent size bets but nowadays i don't even contemplate going above 45p as i just feel nothings gonna happen.

     

    Valdes may not agree  ;) but the change has been one for the worst  :p

     

    So i'm going to run both against each other - to be honest i'd need to do about 3 million spins to compare but for now I'll aim for 250/500k and see if the stats are wildly different. I've not had much time today so I've only done 1188 which is wayyy to small but i'll post this now and then as i add the spins in 10k increments.

     

    Leo = HMTL5 and Casino Heroes/BV for Flash (i'm giving CH a second chance despite their awful start to the year.

     

    Starting off with 9p's 

     

    Might take a while to hit the target spins as it's not a game i play much these days.

    Sweet statistics. 

    How do you keep score of your stats? I find it hard work. Is there an automatic program to take care of this?

    I use Slottracker....lots of decent stats you can get from it. Runs Events on Chrome - bit pricey per month though but free version if you just want the 24 hour timeframe....

     

    Split by casino/slot/software

     

    No need to do yourself - program's like this are more reliable than any human intervention.

    Looks like Bonanza's going to have to subsidise DOA.

    I love Bonanza, as a matter of fact, it can be very good for wagering as well. However the only thing that irritates me, is that I played over 2000 spins in 3 different sessions and the bonus did not come once - Always GOL, even if another combo hit, still no D...

    Well...I have always said before...and still believe in it...that the newer DOA HTML5 version sucks and does not play and pay like the old flash version can!  :p

    Ended up another 10 deposit and cash out 200 on DOA...on old. And from 9p-27p stakes. 

     

    So far the new version isn't even putting me above my starting balance.

     

    Main difference i see/feel is the old one's bonus round is giving those 3 or so wilds on the first 5 wayy more often. The new ones lucky if it's giving 1 in the whole round

     

    Edit - need to add the above to stats as i went and used safari for the browser  :angry:

    my 12 bonus is 2500 is in direct comparison to what i was telling afi last week - same number of rounds and 0!

     

    It really does go in cycles - yesterday it was giving bonus when only one square to drop in and in came the D...last weeks it was clearing the board on GOL and i'm like 'HOW CAN THERE NOT BE A D IN ALL THOSE...HOW!!!!:

    Absolutely, I am a person of fact as well as guy. If, at the end of this the new one produces more lines or scatters, I’ll gladly say sorry to netent

     

    However, yes the old one is giving near misses but at least it’s pretending! :-p

    As long as the base game holds- iv had these at 500 to 1500 x. If that’s ticking over the lack of bonus doesn’t bother me that much

     

    One of the few games you can withdraw from having not seen a bonus as well

    Nice win there mate...however...I'm a mule...and I'm still not convinced than the HTML5 is better than the Flash version...but the Flash version has not been good to me either ever since the HTML5 version came out! So probably both are not that good anymore - not to me anyway! Hahaha.  :D

    Can’t help but feel cheated with all those wilds but with 3300 x I can’t complain

     

    Bigger win than my 1 million bonanza spins in the last year- which I’m retiring for a while as it’s been shocking.

     

    Looks like it's best for you to do what some of us have done...DUMP Bonanza...

    and just stick with DOA then...  :p

    Still like the game but if it’s a retirement fund I’m looking for I’m going to need to look elsewhere

     

    Next stop? Flash to produce a 4000x win to give the newbie two fingers :-p

    Not had much time for slots this week so 'only' managed 13k spins. The Bonanza spins are not entirely accurate as i wasn't logging my play over the last 6 months on it. Didn't see the point in putting flash update on as it's clearly been blasted out of the water by the newbie - for now. 

     

    The Bonanza average frequency is actually spot on in terms of the community average on Slottracker - but again...i had 12 in 2k spins which tilts it a bit. Regardless it's been pretty sh@@@
