Do game providers sue each other?

So many providers are literally

Copying each other’s games.

 

I must have seen 10 Starburst cloans and even more for other games.

 

Since providers are not all in the same country... any suing happening??

I remember when William Hill had a game called Harry Trotter - Pig Wizard

 

Pretty sure JK Rowling intervened as it because it changed name

Well I doubt it surely they'd know they'd get sued before they made the game and then wouldn't make it of that was the case?

Well, I would say that making clones of any game involves payment of royalties...just as in other copyrighted things.

No game designer would want to face legal summons for nothing.

The sad thing is that al of these Starburst copies are terrible compared to the original. They are slow, ugly and not as much as the original Starburst.
