Castle builder 2 slot pulled from Omnislots

Recommended Posts

Hello members,

Hi i'm a new user and already tried to get my issue resolved on a Dutch forum, but no to little help there.
(please excuse the typos and poor english, and the long read)

So,

i've been playing this relatively new slot castle builder 2 now for a couple of months, great fun.
It's a 5 reel slot with a cool bonus(progression based) feature where u collect stones to build a castle. After collecting enough stones and the castle is finished u you get to select a resident prince from 2 -5 princes, pick the correct one and get a big bonus.
The more castles you have build, the higher chance you get on a bigger prince(bonus).

So, i advanced pretty far in the levels and got to a level where the bonusses where up to 300-400 and higher times the bet(lower levels arelike 10-100 times. Having played for thousands of euros.

And the game got pulled from omnislots overnight.

No warning, no notification, nothing.

It is true, the game cannot be found anymore on any other casino's.

microgaming won't give any awnser regarding these matters involving games(email)

I an truly stunned by this process.

How can this be legal?

Can they just pull any game at any time, any jackpot game, just like that, basically stealing peoples invested time and money into future bonus??

I believe i had an invested interest in the game and they took(read stole) a big amount of my expected value.

Basically i feel robbed of my time and money. but i realize how i feel doesn't matter, i just think it is unfair play.

Wrestling through regulations and terms and conditions i cannot figure out if they can just do this.

(notable, i also have a large amount of money invested on the same website in the  immortal romance and robin hood slots, which basically have a similar type of progession bonus, so i'm wondering when they will pull those games and take my progession there.)

I have never read an article on forums or websites warming about these practices, and there are so many of these types of games, which feature a bonusprogession in which u have to invest time and money to get better value.

Please advice or if possible, an awnser whether there is regulations on these practices or if therea anything i can do about this?

I doubt there's anything you can do legally - it's a progression bar, not actual funds that you had in your account. Same thing happened to me at a casino whereby i lost my Immortal Romance progress in LeoVegas - i complained as would need to go through it again and they fired me 50 quid. However, that was goodwill as i never really lost anything.

Frustrating, yes. Legally dubious, I can't see.

You could simply ask the casino for any goodwill gesture but that'll be at their discretion as you haven't lost anything (you could say you lost the opportunity but that's a bit tenuous)

However...if it was Gemix and you had 100 quid world bonus for example, I could see how you would have a better case.

As for stealing invested time...the flip is opposite - maybe in pulling it they've saved you money ;)

It is a tough one because if the supplier has pulled the game there isn't really much you or the casino can do, although I can obviously understand how frustrating it is. Are the casino able to offer you a goodwill gesture - it's worth the ask because in this instance I can't see any other way of compensation.

It appears that Castle Builder II is now back and running again. At least I can see the game listed within several casino operators today...

Not quite sure what might be the real reason behind such 'game pull-off', but as far as I know from unofficial sources is that Microgaming got quite a serious amount of complaints from casino operators recently all of them reporting huge player wins from Castle Builder II. Maybe, just maybe, Microgaming have finally decided to pull the plug for a couple of days and investigate if everything with game's payout and RNG is just fine... Blatant speculations of course, but that's all we got considering the fact that all biggest gaming suppliers nowadays are just B2B interested and don't really give a heck about players and their opinions and/or feedback. :(

Welcome to AskGamblers though. :)

And of course, it would be interesting to note how players would be commenting on the game after its reinstatement.

Another Dead Or Alive similarity perhaps?  :p

So basically Afi you're saying they took it down in order to write some 'compensatory' software into the game?

Surely not... ;)

Well mate, I have personally seen such things happening to my top money-earning favourite games before...but not Microgaming games of course...so it would interest me a lot to find out! I would expect Microgaming to maintain its honesty ethics, but if bugs were indeed found...shouldn't that justify some amendments to the game?  :p

I can't find the game running anywhere , and i don't completely agree with your remarks , but i see where your coming from. I hope microgaming will give me a satisfactory compensation and then my part in this will be over.

If not, well let's just say that i'm kinda mad at the moment and still feel as though they stole my money.
European online gambling legislation is kinda a big topic at the moment with different operaters being banned from certain countries so i hope for a good ending and a fair shake in my occasion.

Everybody's remark on that i just shouldn't play some sort of game is just idocracy.

We all know slots aren't profitable  but if we get lucky so be it, if not i still want to have a good time, and not be cheated.

Your chances of getting any sort of a compensation are less than 0.00% and you could either go and read carefully through the casino terms and conditions to find out why OR keep wasting time, efforts and money chasing a dead cause. It's not an "idocracy"as you call it., it's just common sense and experience from first hand.

Good luck. :good:
