Old Dead or Alive Lives on

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Nektan casinos have just added the old flash, pre rubbish HTML5, DOA.

20 quid in, had 12 bonus rounds and ready to cash out.

Of course they haven't changed the code on the new one.

Hmm, sounds as a pretty weird business/marketing decision to me... :unknw:

But, it has all the potential to pay back considering the prevailing opinion among the avid DOA fans that new HTML5 version is simply no longer the same game they all knew and played for years.

Btw, hope you did your due diligence regarding and checked already old game version is coming from the *.casinomodule.com domain right?

Yep - one does check the source code  ;)

Nektan are ok - slow payouts and they cap their bonus's but all in all an average set up

I'm just happy to be able to adjust the number of lines  :o

Really? Is this the main reason for preferring the old version then? Not being able to adjust the lines now makes no difference to me since DOA is never a game I play with reduced lines anyway. The only time I'd use it for this purpose is if I had pennies in my account which I wanted zero before depositing again.

Nah, just being facetious.

Main reason for me is that it plays different - be that in our heads or otherwise.

It's about the only half decent game NetEnt have left so if it goes, I go

Not for me though...NetEnt has been dead for me for several months now.  <_<

The last game I played was Butterfly Staxx...and that too was a disaster for me...so bye bye NetEnt!

Staxx is an awful game. I never really get bored with slots - bird on a wire the exception - but Staxx had me wishing my free spins away  :o

This slot is not invented for me.

Tried it so many times, never got the 5 scatters in base game or 5 wilds in a row  with free spins.

Same with Playtech slots.

I hated in until about 40,000 spins in i went on a run involving 3 5 scatters, wild lines in a few weeks.

It does require, usually, long sessions and the bonus rounds are normally grim.

But like when you win decent amounts on a slot you normally have a soft spot for it, though mine is being pushed

I've always had a soft spot for this game right back to my early years of playing, even before I found the forum and realised you can have wild lines like the screenshots here. But, I too still have not got close to those huge wins. I'll never stop trying though  :(

I'll never give up! Just can't help myself plus I don't have another game where I've wanted something so badly for so long so I have to keep trying, right?

You Right.

I have been hunting a wild line for a very long time and not giving up either.

I also still want to have a good bonus round on Jack and Beanstalk or Creature from the black lagoon. where i win atleast x500 or more my total bet.

That's the spirit Sharon darling...I like that.  :good:

If it's something that you want so badly, then just keep on trying...one fine day, your dreams will/may come true...hopefully. If it still doesn't, hmmm...

I had lost my hopes on Supe It Up last year, when I lost a big amount on the blardy game...but it was the best game from MG for me, so I kept on trying...and voila, the jinx got broken.  ^_^

But for Dead Or Alive...the game isn't the same anymore...not like Supe It Up, which is still unchanged and un-upgraded...so I hope it will stay this way...or else...another tombstone it'll have to be...hahaha.  ^_^

Yes...that's the spirit too mate...so all the best and good luck!  ^_^

However...I won't put too much hope on NetEnt games nowadays...even that Creature game isn't the same anymore! My last few plays on it went disastrously...unlike before!  <_<

To be honest after Netent updated the slots and reals are spinning faster then before etc etc . This is when they went down the drain. PlaynGo even pays better these days for , at least. So Blue Print gaming and Thunderkick is still the best at the moment since i cannot Play microgaming.

But I stick to EGT now.

Yep...I agree with you mate...stick with the games and providers that are performing better for you...pity you can't play Microgaming games though.

For me now, it's Microgaming first, Play'nGo second, Playtech third...I might even kick that blardy Playtech out, soon enough, if their games still refuse to pay anything worthwhile!  <_<
