[Edited]: Cassava Enterprises - Self Exclusion Refund Discussion

Recommended Posts

The details they ask for are account and sort code with bank name, which if I'm buying something online I've always had to give long card number and security number but when I make transfers to friends or family then I only need their account and sort code which is all these are asking for. I guess all we can do is wait for them to respond and I hope it's true because the figure they gave me will pay for a small holiday lol

Just been on another forum which other people are talking about receiving the same email and are being warned it's more likely to be a scam and do not give your bank details, although it maybe is a scam why did 888 say over phone to someone that the email was genuine

Hi there and welcome all to AskGamblers. :)

Strongly encourage you to read the previous posts in this particular forum thread. While most players consider the message sent to you all to be perfectly normal considering the set of circumstances which led to this email in first place, some precautionary measures are always welcome... One of these could be checking the email address and compare it with the relevant casino and.or company domain. ;)

I'm also offering you our help by forwarding the email sent by Cassava to [email protected] and which we could then discuss with their reps here.

Sorry jsans I tried replying but still learning, I would keep checking your bank for any unusual activities and check if any direct debits have been set up that you don't know about to be on safe side until you are 100% sure it's genuine, I ain't giving my details till I get contacted by phone as I got a feeling it's all fake

I've gone for it, their email is correct so I just emptied my back account and will wait and see. Also emailed the support team here to see what they can do. Great if it all works out, if not could be a nightmare

Check your bank for any strange activities or direct debits set up until you know for sure if it's real or fake, I got to be honest tho it does look genuine and you've have rang them and they also said it's genuine then a good chance it is but just be safe and keep checking. If it's fake then the person you spoke to needs sacking
