Giving bad reviews for not winnig

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I have seen quite a few people give casinos bad reviews because they did not win anything. One question that comes to mind then is: can each casino set their own "payback percentage"? I would not think so! So, giving a casino 1 star just because you lost €50 there - is just stupid I think. It will also give worse overall score to good casinos!

Right?

Hello there mr Fish :)

I agree with you, it's all about not knowing. When a game sucks, most of the time, the casino will get the blame for it. Unfair? No doubt! What can you do about it? Not a thing. I too was one of them when I was a noob to online gambling and I have blamed casinos for my losses but now I'm older and wiser (so I think) :D and I've learned a lot of things about the online casino industry. So, their time will come too, I hope :)

Yeah, it is the same thing for casinos and games... Like 3-4 days ago, I played "Break da bank again". I have played it before, but never won anything. A few bucks here and there but nothing to mention. Thinking that it has to be the worst game ever :D But I tried it again (@Pingocasino/Functionalgames) and after a few spins- with a NOK 9 stake (€1) I won NOK 10.000. Played a couple of hours and requested about €3.600 withdrawal. I tell you - NOT a stupid game! Quite fun, actually :D (when winning).

And other casinos I have never won much at - but as long as the games are good and you do not get cheated - 1 star is unfair for just loosing!

Yeah, I noticed my matey Afi also had a big win playing the game. I have played the game several times in the past but end up with zero balance :D

Sometimes you need to give a game several tries. I might give this game another try somewhere this month and see if I can win big too ;)

I take reviews from this view point, everyone give its own opinion based on its own experience with some game or casino, some players will have good and others medium or bad opinions. Then, we will see the average rating instead of every single rate, so for this it is important to get a lot of reviews for every game and casino, because the more the number of ratings the more accurate it is the average.

It is like that experiment where it is shown the power of statistics and collective unconscious by asking people to guess how many chewing gum balls are in some bottle; each one give very different answers, for example, 450, 3000, 2500, 10000, and so on, and as it were magic, the average answer results to be so close from the real number.

I actually think it boils down to lack of experience because I know when I first started playing years ago I probably thought this once or twice, obviously now over the years you learn to realize that in actual fact losing, whether we like it or not is just part of the experience.

Either that or they are just sore losers  :p

I'm a sore loser too, when I lost, I yell at my cat and she has this meaningless/cold-stare-and-looked-away-kinda-thing that calms me down :D

If you're a gambler, you need a pet cuz losing is a big part of gambling

That's a rude way to tell that they lost $20 or even $1 that they will make negative feedbacks! Another excuse why they do it is because they sometimes can't control their discipline if they lost all their bankrolls.

I find the matter you raised as totally reasonable and for the records, our team usually remove such comments with the relevant explanation of course. A negative comment cannot be only based on the fact player lost at the casino, it's totally unfair and unjustified...

Will greatly appreciate if you could send me a PM anytime you spot such a comment and I promise we'll review and take all the necessary measures if necessary. The same refers to all of you though. ;)

The issue isn't if you win or lost one casino's night, to rate the casino quality is actually the government  test which the algorithms to generate the random numbers has to pass.

That in the case of online casinos. In the real life casino whichever error at the physical mechanisms has the potential power to break down gambling house
