Hi, I am Natalie Hearn- a PhD student from the University of Central Lancashire and I am conducting research exploring gambling. I am looking for people to take part in our study and would be extremely grateful if you would consider helping. If you would like to take part, please follow the following link which will provide you with more information to help you decide. It would be greatly appreciated, Natalie.

Hi there Natalie and welcome to AskGamblers.

I'm afraid posting external links within our forum is forbidden, but I'm ready to offer you a deal. We'll leave your link and you promise to come back here and post the results of your research. Agree? :)

I expect that this kind of research is anonymously gather?

I want to participate but the link is invalid for me? Maybe you can change it Natalie.

Thank you mate!  ;)

Why does I always encounter the "Your country is restricted" even if it's an external link from Askgamblers Cocopop? Is it because I reside from U.S, I wonder if others experience this err?

Hey mate, if you think it is for your location, then you can try using a non-USA  webproxy like theproxy.eu. There you paste that link and if it works fine, maybe it is because your IP is from USA, although I think that's not the reason. Maybe your firewall?

Not sure about external links, but if you try to sign up to a casino you'll get that message. Why do you get that message when you try the link above? Does it not just open a new tab for you?

I don't know why this always happened. Maybe an ISP problem? Right now, my country's restriction really disappoints me.  <_<

If I will use it for the external links I think it will work well but if I will use it as a cover for my U.S ISP for playing casinos it will be destruction for me I will get totally ban for using it.

This is the reason why I don't always trust and rely in using VPN. Anyway, your suggestion is really appreciated Raptordinos mate.  ;)

Nah, it doesn't open a new tab Cocopop when I clicked it the current tab will just open the Askgamblers restricted country warning. Seems an ISP problem or a bug for Askgamblers for restricted countries, months ago I didn't get any of this warning even I opened an external links?  This is the reason why I want to relocate to another country because right now rest of the countries hated USA.  :cray:

Hi mate. Of course. I was thinking you try the proxy for the survey (like a test)  :) Casinos would close your account if you alter your IP address.

Pretty intense questions!! I answered some of them.

Yep Cocopop, they're quietly shocking for me that I don't realize I do it that way.  ;)

I'm afraid there will be no chance left to take that survey for those of you who didn't do it so far. Obviously, the original poster was not interested in cooperating and providing more information on that survey, so our gesture of good will to leave the survey link live even though it has never been approved turned out to be a not such a good idea.

Frankly, why helping someone when he/she is obviously not interested in doing the same for us...

I think if he/she cooperated well his/her research bout gambling will be define well here at Askgamblers forum. He/She lost the opportunity then.

I answered some and then jumped to debrief.

Oooohhhh, like reading the terms and condition of different software products online except Casinos T and C? Hehehe

I'm just kiddin Cocopop.

I wouldn't have expected her to keep logging in every day to see if anyone has responded but surely any replies should have gone to her email address?

Did anyone send her a PM?

I know that PhD students often have multiple lines of research going on at once, they are really quite busy people. Whatever anyway, she had her chance and missed it.

Unlucky. You snooze, you lose
