Winning at the beginning

Hi,

I want to get people's experiences of playing at a new casino, or playing at a site after a long period off.

I have self excluded at a few casinos over the years. Once I have re-opened the account I find that I always seem to win a significant sum of money. I also get this when I have joined a new site (and I never take deposit bonuses)

Is there something in this? It always seems to be the same pattern. I join a new site, or I re-open an account after 12 months and I always win. I then go on to have significant losses, but that first trip back I always win!

Does anyone else find this?

In my opinion it's just down to luck, although I'm sure there will be members here who disagree. There may seem like there's a pattern but let's think logically about it. How could it even be possible that this would always happen? There's just no way it could strategically happen every time?????

I had the same feeling , especially those white label casinos where you no deposit free spins are locked from wagering until you make a deposit. So if its lock you keep on winnings, and as soon as you make deposit to actually start wagering then you end up loosing. But at the end i think it is just luck.

However i feel i win all the time on a new slot whenever it gets released. The first 3 days or so. I had this with guns and roses, Jimi hendrix and a couple of others.

Yes I agree, but it's happened to me every single time I've joined a new site or re-opened and account which is probably around 50 times. I just wonder if when you open a new account you are set up to win a bit, to keep you coming back

To be very honest, I would be very tempted to say "there may be something fishy going on", but if you had won on 50 different casinos consecutively, then I have to dump that sentence. It's very unlikely that 50 casinos would do the same thing to any one player, new or old.

In your case, Bee2121, and in some other similar cases too, it may just be that you were 'born with a slot machine in your arms'!  :D

Not literally of course, but some people are born to be very lucky at gambling! Just as some people have 'green fingers' or 'chef hands' and so forth. It's nothing more than nature's way of diversifying things...and luck.

But, nothing lasts forever!!!  ;)

Don't get me wrong I have some really dry spells where I win absolutely zero at any game on any site. But I seem to have beginners luck! Although I lost £1900 reversing my withdrawal last week (grrrrr) I've done alright!

Aaaah...okay then...so perhaps you were born with a faulty slot machine in your arms!

Well you might be closer to the truth than you think. This goes especially for Amatic casinos. I have won in each and everyone of them on the first few deposits, after that it's one loss after the other, impossible to win no matter what you do. I really think that in some casinos you win a lot more easier with a new account than with an old one making regular deposits. Still no casino will ever confirm this and just call it luck.
