Flatzem
Hey all, I ask members of this forum to name those casinos that won't add the Dead or Alive slot even though they have many other NetEnt slots. Some casinos have never added Dead or Alive and some may have removed it after some time. They must be so scared of it due to its big win potential ! Some of them ban it during bonus play. I will start it off with these two: Betfair (never had it) and Party Casino (never had it), who else is getting added to this list? If you can add if the casino has had it before or never had it. raverbabe
I've written about this exact topic here recently, it's nice to see I'm not the only one who thinks this. What does surprise me though is how these big names like 888 can be so worried about somebody winning a few thousand... Surely they Re making millions right? partyhummel
that indicates that those operations did not hire reasonnable risk managers... i would not trust a single cent to them if they really admit they do not add that slot since they are scared. maybe they should be sent to psychiatric therapie. looks like a scare-disorder. raverbabe
BGO have had the game on and off for several years now and once told me on live chat that it had been removed because they suspected it wasn't paying out correctly. It was eventually reinstated but disappeared again soon after. All of the 888 group casinos that have NetEnt games are missing Dead or Alive plus any other high variance, high paying games, as far as I have been able to see. They definitely only like people to play sure and steady bankroll drainers at their casinos !
zerooo
vegas bet365 remove Dead or Alive as well... well i never played there DoA, but i think at the beginning they offer it.. but yeah, not anymore. heh
raverbabe
Can any of the mods have some of the casino reps weigh in on this topic? It would be truly fascinating to hear from one of the casinos that have removed the game. Amongst the casinos that do still offer Dead or Alive, a huge number now exclude it from bonus play or have reduced its contribution percentage dramatically - I've seen 50% and even 20% at otherwise extremely high quality reputable casinos. Why is it so wrong to use a bonus to play a game that has the possibility of giving a win that will enable us to beat our wagering requirement? It only happens one time in a hundred after all, how can they begrudge us that occasional lucky break?!
Flatzem
NetEnt should ban these casinos from using any of their games if they are not offering Dead or Alive (or punish them by boosting all paytables for all other NetEnt games). Gutless casinos.
Hellridah
Without naming any names on the subject I've seen it all with regard 'ole' dead or alive ...custom modded version's that spin slower , the higher bets taken out , and even the ability to hit guns on free spins : the nature of DoA is high Volatility yes it can hit big but it can guzzle money too its not a sure in the bag bet High Vol's can suck you dry quick as look at you ...and then there's that slight chance they will actually pay . If I'm to take a wild stab in the dark here the move to exclude DoA is from a Risk Management Point of View based on the ability to meet Liabilities in the short and long term : based on the capital structure of the business in question this I understand fully but in regards to launching an operation I think it must also be considered that DoA is but one of many games that could hit big and to remove simply DoA would seem nonsensical and if indeed the move is based on Risk Projection then perhaps a complete restructuring should also be looked at or even the odd merger here and there ...I see Jetbull is good like that . raverbabe
hajnrih
Yeah DOA can pay big but can also eat a lot of balance. The lowered wagering contribution in almost every casino is also due to the fact that you can play a very big number of spins without dropping much in balance or be in a plus. Personally for me DOA is one of the safest slots for wagering bonus requirements in every casino where it is allowed for play. In many sessions after 3k + spins my balance has dropped only 10-20% of my original balance. Hellridah

I can't see netent messing with those super low variance paytables they seem to be in love with recently though

If you saw a version of doa that had the scatters in the bonus round it had to be a pirate copy with dodgy reel sets - there's an excellent chance you wouldn't be getting a fair game at that casino. I agree, the base game can feel really quite low variance sometimes - it also has a tendency to rescue me with a five stars or five hats hit right as I'm about to run out of money, but these things are just luck! Increasing the wagering requirement because people find it to be a good game for cycling a balance just says once again at the casinos don't think the game is returning the correct percentage over the long term... And I doubt that can be true. Playing DoA at high stakes is a risky business, end of story, just like any other slot. So why is this one particular game viewed so differently by the casinos? Who knows, maybe someone found a way to win on a regular basis or use some advantage play method? We'll need a casino rep to give a clear insight on this one or someone from NetEnt Fiekie247
raverbabe
There are a couple of players who post at other forums who have managed over 100 wildlines at the game prompting some to say they must have found a cheat or hack of some kind, but the players say they simply play the game at several casinos at once taking any bonus possible, and play for many hours every weekend. Sometimes they win, sometimes they lose - they are risking more money for more chances of a win. I'm sure those players could be responsible for at least a couple of the restrictions that have popped up at casinos all over the web, but I don't think they did anything wrong myself. If there was a bug in the game that any of the casinos or NetEnt were aware of it would have been pulled a long time ago, of that I am certain. Guru always puts a lot of time into this game thousands upon thousands of time! Even though I love the game and I really do I get red up after a while and I think this is probably the reason why I've never had that wildline! Flatzem I don't really think casinos are somehow scared of Dead Or Alive slot. Indeed, DOA proved over the years to be a living legend when it comes to insane big hits achieved with relatively small bets, however it is also a great source of fresh income at the same time. There are thousands and thousands of players like me for example, who would not even look further as any new casino as soon as they notice DOA is missing. And let me tell you that the average DOA player would most probably make deposits of well over 100+ at a time, which according to my humble opinion is exactly 10 times more than the average Starburst player for example. In short, it's not always up to the casino managers to decide which game to keep or not, it's all a matter of financing /since none of the NetEnt games comes cheap/ and a matter of marketing of course /meaning that casino could target thousands of players with average deposit amount of 20-50 rather than hundreds of players with average deposits somewhere in the region of 100 and 200/. cocopop3011
Flatzem
Party Casino has now added DOA (after adding dozens of other NetEnt slots first), went to test it out there and this is what they gave me , about 527 spins, 3 features, paying 13.3xBet, 30.8xBet, 8.9xBet..... 214 units down, RTP 59.39%. Typical example jumped on an "Icy Cold" Slot at Betat casino and hit mega big its all about how the rng is feeling guys lately its been moody with me . Afi4wins
Well, I've had several good long sessions on this new DOA... and so far...it has only been disappointing! Much more disappointing that the old DOA! I don't think I'll like this new version...so I'm playing more of Holiday Season and Pimped instead. At least I've got several over 100x bet wins so far, as compared to NONE from DOA! Hellridah and cocopop3011
Toplivecasinos
I don't think they are scared because of the high pay of the slot. Even it pays high it is a hungry money machine. The only thing I could think is the license to operate it is expensive for casinos.

Well, I think Dead Or Alive has just seen the last of my regular playing! I wish I could still play the old version, but it's no longer around This new DOA has been eating and eating, as I have already found The free spins games are just as rare, but the payouts give me the scare Very nice winnings I used to get, now all I can see are bare and hardly there! Don't be so hasty, Master Playtech. You are not new into online gambling and the mysterious ways of Lady Luck in general and our long known 5 shooters from DOA... Give the game some time, give Lady Luck some time, keep trying and I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of time before we start seeing here posted insane winner screenshots coming from you. Well Guru mate, if after almost 1 year of trying and not getting any nice decent wins from DOA, then there must be a lesson behind it for me...like telling to stop playing it maybe, hehehe. Honestly speaking, my instincts are already telling me not to play the new DOA, but I just found out today that Buck & Butler is still using the old DOA. So I must just change my venue and try there for a change...and see how things go. If still nothing, well, what more can I say?
