Let's talk about Cinerama

Recommended Posts

Let's talk a bit about the Cinerama slot

Just recently I have gone over the 11,000 spins milestone, on this slot lifetime and during this period I have yet to see 5OAK scripts or 5OAK stars.

5OAK clappers once, 5OAK reels once, 5OAK megaphones 3 times, 5OAK films 2 times, 5OAK spotlights 2 times, 5OAK microphones 7+ times.

and the most wilds seen is 3 (they act as scatters too) and that has occured 10 times.

So my question is have any of you played this game and what has been your gameplay results with it.

Have you had 5OAK scripts or 5OAK stars....... or 4 wilds or 5 wilds scrattered?

3 scattered wilds pay 25 x Bet = 6.25 (if max betting 0.25)

so according to the paytable then 4 scattered wilds would pay 1000 x Bet = 250.00 (if max betting 0.25)

and 5 scattered wilds would pay 10000 x Bet = 2,500.00 (if max betting 0.25)

So if there is anyone out there that has had 4 scatted wilds and got paid 250.00 then let me know.

Cinerama is a blardy old game from Playtech.

It was never popular then, not popular now either.

To make things more interesting for Playtech fans, Cinerama, along with a few more oldie games, then become Progressive Jackpot games, the ONLY WAY TO WIN BIG from such games!  :p

Even before it became a Jackpot game, Cinerama has never proved its mettle as a big payout game. I've played it over the years, on and off, without getting anything nice or substantial, so it finally became another 'game on my display shelf'. Nope, I've never got those high paying 5-of-a-kinds, only the lower ones, and this was BEFORE Cinerama got its jackpot boost. So now, rather than aiming to get those elusive 5-of-a-kinds, players can now go for the much bigger jackpot prize instead.

As far as I know, the Progressive Jackpots do get paid out and renewed occasionally, but I really wonder if anyone had won a Jackpot prize playing with the required maximum bets. I certainly wouldn't play it like that, knowing how badly the payouts could be! So someone could have won 10% or so of the Jackpot prize, playing with smaller bets, and resetting the entire Jackpot amount back to its preset minimum amount! Playtech wins all the time!!!  <_<

A word of advice for Jackpot hunters...stick with the bigger Jackpot games, like Marvel Super Heroes games for example, where a Jackpot Prize can be won with any small bets played, yes, even with just $0.20, $0.25, or even $0.50 minimum starting bets...unless you've got trucks full of cash to play with!  :D

Cinerama? Never won the highest 5-of-a-kind. Fruit Mania, yes. Golden Tour, yes, Silent Samurai, yes. Other similar games, yes too. BUT...all those happened BEFORE they became Jackpot games. With a Jackpot Prize in place, I can bet the game won't play the same!!!  :p

I used to love this game!!

I went through a few month where I played this game a lot, and it gave me some good wins too. This was more in my earlier days of gambling unfortunately its now one of those games that have gone under the radar.

In answer to your question, I don't know I can't remember if I've ever had 5 scripts, I doubt it, if I had I would imagine I'd remember such a win. And nope I've never had 4 or 5 wilds either, even if I did I wouldn't have won the jackpot since I never placed max bets on this game. More often or not the default is 0.05 coin which is what I always played it at.

That's not surprising at all Sharon darling! ^_^

Rather than playing Cinerama, I've always preferred playing Wall St Fever or Fruit Mania instead, but I've never won 5 of those Wall St Fever Wilds, which now pays a Jackpot Prize. 5 Bulls, yes, 2 or 3 times. 4 Wilds, yes, only once.

The following may vary casino to casino (for games with Progressive Jackpot):-

Cinerama : $0.25 minimum starting bet

Everybody's Jackpot : $0.08 minimum starting bet

Fruitmania : $1.25 minimum starting bet

Golden Tour : $0.05 or $0.50 minimum starting bet

Silent Samurai : $0.09 or $0.45 minimum starting bet

Wall St. Fever : $0.50 minimum starting bet

That Fruitmania game had gone maniac after getting a jackpot prize on its fruit head!

It used to play with just $0.05 starting bet, and that was the time I enjoyed playing it best.

Now at $1.25 per spin, I can only watch and grin.  :D

I've only played this game a few times a long time ago so struggle to say just how unlikely your results are, but what I will say is I must have played 50,000 or more spins on "Break Da Bank Again" and have only seen a full line of the sapphires once in that time.. The top paying combinations in any game can be incredibly unlikely, apart from the 243 ways slot games there are probably more I haven't seen a 5OAK of the top symbol on than those that I have, so I think your results are probably well within the variance for this kind of game.

How come this game is no longer available in the UK?

Had my biggest win on this. £308.90 spin.

Haven't tried to play it recently but I've had numerous issue find Playtech slots for UK now - mainly finding casinos that actually have them for us sicne the new regulations. Where are you trying the game to?

I played just under 23,000 spins (2015-2017) on Cinerama at Betfair when it was available , then they started taking it down and bringing it back

and also same with Wall Street Fever. Sometimes when the jackpot was really high they would take it down for unknown reason without explanation.

I see that Cinerama is still not back but Wall Street Fever is with only a puny 3,658 JP, I know Wall Street Fever JP can get massive so what is this joke.

Anyway since my first post in 2016 I did end up getting the rare 5OAK scripts and 50AK stars in 2017. (both only once)

but as far as Wilds go the most I had appear on the screen was 3.

How weird is that I have had 50AK megaphone, films, reels, numerous times and yet the 5OAK stars which pay less than those would only show up once in just under 23,000 spins. Something not right about that! Dodgy!

When you say you won 308.90 , that was with some 4OAK wilds in there eh?

and since wilds pay for scatters and for paylines that would explain that nice hit you had.

Sorry I'm wrong it was £256.75 but still good! 4 Wilds plus 4 x film reels / 2x Scripts.

I actually got 5OAK Stars many times I recall.

Maybe it will be back to Betfair once the jackpot is hit hmmm.

Expect to see this disappear soon. I've used it to clear some bonuses with great results so far except tonight...kept getting kicked out of the game "Sorry, there is no response from the gaming server" after every few spins. My connection is fine, very odd, felt like someone was intervening, I relaunched the game every time it happened, must have been 20x!

Anyway I lost the bonus (game was being unusually tight) and played on a bit and after just a few more spins got 5x lights and then 5 x clappers shortly after! happy days.

after almost a year of not playing this game, I found it this week at another casino and had a couple of sessions on it (totalling over 500 spins), it plays just like always, teases now and then, and throws up a sequence of dead spins of up to about 12, still continue to play it cause of that JP, currently around 114K. In each of those 2 sessions the best hit was 5x microphones. gl to anyone that wants to have a go on it.
