globalgamer
I am new to the world of online winning, and wanted to ask for some feedback on Skrill. I tried using Neteller which didn't work out since I am from the land of milk and honey with more rules than you can perhaps imagine (the place between Canada and Mexico). So Neteller was unusable - unfortunately. I even received their debit card. So before I sign up with Skrill I want to make sure it really works, and do they process your withdrawal requests pretty fast (to credit card or bank account)? Has anyone had big issues with them? Thank you for any feedback. cocopop3011

Thank you for any feedback. First and foremost Skrill and Neteller are now the same company. Have you checked that Skrill is available for your country? Next is my opinion on Skrill and it's a really tough one for me but I'll try and cut a long story short... I was using Skrill for many years without no problems at all I was so happy with them. Yes my withdrawals were processed fast just 24 hours to get from my Skrill account to my bank account and I used their MasterCard without any problems at all! Yes there are fees but the way I see you can't get away from the fees so you just have to learn to live with them. Then I encountered a problem. On Christmas Day a sum of money was taken from my account by a third party. As it was Christmas Day I didn't even notice until 2 days later by this time the money had already cleared into this others guys account! It was an absolute nightmare getting this back. Support were absolutely useless, phone support and email support were just a complete waste of time. I ended up after waiting ages getting a small portion of the money back to be told I wouldn't have anymore. Much to my surprise I logged in sometime after and eventually all the funds were returned to me (although Skrill never told me) The lack of support from Skrill really showed me that their company have a huge way to go before they make it to the top in my eyes and this one instance has lost my trust and faith in Skrill forever. However the actual services of Skrill, their withdrawals, their card, transactions etc always worked good for me. So to anyone who asks me personally about Skrill I say go for it but make sure you do everything you can to keep your account safe because Skrill certainly DO NOT make this their top priority. globalgamer
Wow that sure helps! Reminds me of Bovada. Are they all connected somehow lol! I really dread those nightmares since if something can go wrong I am ALWAYS the one who has that happen. Its amazing they didn't just give the money right back after that, the account security is their responsibility ultimately in my opinion. I am not actually in my country most of the time so the rules are a bit hard to keep up with, but for neteller it didn't work at all since even though I was not gambling from my country, neteller wont approve transactions to casinos for anyone from my country, so it was totally useless. There was no way for me to take my money out that I had transferred to neteller so I had to write them a letter and wait for them to cancel my account and basically rescind it and I did receive my money back eventually. I just wish videoslots took bitcoin since the only way I can play there is by using skrill and they have great reviews from so many members here. Maybe I will just wait and hope they take bitcoin eventually. They do accept players from the counties I am in most of the time, so thats not an issue. Thanks again for the feedback. VideoSlots is an extremely popular casino and it happens to be one of my favourites too. We have a member here from Canada and I know he uses Entropay for most of his casino transactions, have you looked into that? globalgamer
blondie
I am not from Canada but I have Entropay too and I have seen it in many casinos as a deposit method. I like Entropay but I don't use it for gambling. globalgamer and cocopop3011

raverbabe
I also use Skrill pretty much daily and don't think I would play on-line without it now... being able to spend my winnings immediately using the Mastercard makes gambling on-line not too different to playing in my local casino. However, I absolutely agree that support are beyond useless and issues can sometimes take weeks to resolve. If you can get hold of them on the phone their English is terrible as well. It's a real shame they don't take these aspects of the business more seriously

I haven't stopped using Skrill because my account was hacked I stopped using Skrill because of the appalling way they dealt with it. helenakp
