Afi4wins Posted June 10 Posted June 10 @mhjahidkb Hi there and welcome to the forum. In most cases, legitimate casinos would only require a minimum deposit of around 20 - 25 EUR to verify and process a new account. There have already been so many reports of crypto casinos demanding a 1st initial $100 deposit just to get the new account verified, but more deposits would then be demanded just to get the withdrawal claim processed - needless to say, most of these crypto casinos are scam ones! mhjahidkb 1 Quote
Manfred Posted June 10 Posted June 10 No, no legitimate casino will ask you for $100 for account verification. If you miraculously won some insane amount of money from a no-deposit welcome bonus, that is also a strong indicator of a scam. Legitimate casinos limit the maximum withdrawable amount from such bonuses, usually to somewhere between $50 and $150. As Afi4wins mentioned, casinos generally require one deposit before they process the first payout. However, a minimum deposit is sufficient, which is usually in the range of $10–$20. Search for the casino on AskGamblers, and if you cannot find it featured on the site, you should be extra cautious. That does not mean a site featured there is automatically trustworthy, nor does it mean a site not featured there is automatically a scam. Still, it is a good starting point. If you actually shared the name of the site, we could tell you for sure whether it is a scam or not. However, based on everything you have told us, which is not much, it is most probably a scam. Do not pay them. mhjahidkb and Afi4wins 1 1 Quote
Blackjax Posted June 10 Posted June 10 @mhjahidkb can you name the casino in question please? mhjahidkb 1 Quote
loceff13 Posted June 10 Posted June 10 100% a scam, getting more common with hundreds popping up each month. Makes services like AG etc more useful than ever before with its recommendations/reviews. The only time a casino has asked for a deposit to cashout for me was when I depositing using a debit visa eftpos card(not a full visa card, payments couldn't be paid to it if it was over the initial deposit amount) so they had me deposit $20 via skrill to withdraw to that method etc. mhjahidkb 1 Quote

I’ve seen this trick used by a lot of fake crypto casinos lately. They make it look like a normal verification step, but after you send the money they usually come up with another excuse and ask for even more. A real casino may ask for a deposit in some situations, but not a random $100 just to unlock your account or withdraw winnings. I would definitely stay away from faotex and not send them anything. Rischerd65 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Where can I go to check if a casino is legitimate or not? Not finding much on the one I joined. Afi4wins 1 Quote

For a start, you can ask Google's AI to see what it says about the casino. If it's a crypto casino asking for a $100 deposit for verification purposes, it's most likely a SCAM! Quote
Rischerd65 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago @Afi4winsThank you. I will try Google AI It is a crypto casino but you can also withdraw US $s Quote
Rischerd65 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago @Afi4wins Thank you. Google AI info below incase any one else asks about them. I was afraid of that but have not given them any bank info at allthank goodness. I plan on keeping an eye on it though. luckato dot com displays several classic warning signs of a high-risk or untrustworthy website. Key risk indicators include: Very New Domain: The domain was registered recently, which is typical for temporary storefronts or fly-by-night operations. Low Trust & Safety Scores: Independent website safety checkers and trust evaluators (such as Scam Detector) flag the site with very low reliability and high-risk scores due to a lack of verifiable business history and missing transparent background data. Lack of Independent Reputation: There is virtually no track record of legitimate customer service, physical location tracking, or established public standing. Recommendation It is strongly advised to stay away from this website and avoid entering personal information, creating an account, or making any purchases. If you have already interacted with the site or shared sensitive payment info, monitor your financial statements closely and contact your bank or credit card provider immediately if you suspect unauthorized activity.
