Anybody accidentally go over the max allowed stake while wagering a bonus?

I did this, but thankfully the casino (Wolfy Casino) prevented the spin from going through (the fact that many casinos don't prevent you from accidentally going over the max allowed is predatory IMO)

On Pragmatic's Hyperplay, I have a habit of clicking and pressing space immediately after. I accidentally clicked near the right-most of the stake bar and by habit pressed space after, this would've been an over $20 spin. 

Has anyone done this, were you prevented from doing this or did the casino have a-hole design, leaving you screwed out of a bonus?

Yeah, I've had this happened quite a number of times over the years, at various casinos, where a max bet limitor was not present. It all happened by accident, never intentional, and all were detrimental to the bonus wagering! Withdrawal rejected, reimbursement of lost max bet denied and absolutely nothing was gained by such errors.
