Street smart gamblers are like street smart entrepreneurs. They know where to buy the original brands and where to find the Class A imitations. They are the hardest people to fool and scam because they could easily spot if you are lying, nervous or just plain unaware. They, indeed are almost always the smartest people in the room.

It was a great pleasure and past time to observe these street smarts, both from the gambling and entrepreneurial industry. Written below are the some of the few things they have in common that which I find very interesting.

1. Guts but with thought.

Fear is a friendly seat belt that holds us back when we are about to do something beyond the capacity of our rational emotions. However at some point, fear can be unhealthy and imprisoning. Poisoning our very minds with self defeating talks that crumple the needed confidence and positive self belief.

Street smart gamblers think. They know when to fold and when to hold on, as to how street smart entrepreneurs know when to abound and when to abase. Their thought analysis is not based primarily on the fear of losing but in the courage of defeat.

2. Set principles and convictions

I heard some poker player once told me while we were playing on a poker tournament, he whispered " My two cards are all hearts, I will fold on this. I don't play with hearts" Actually, I laughed at the notion, quite corny for me to hear about, but later on I realized, it was not that bad at all to have a personal rule of the thumb.

Being street smart is way far different from being a fraudster or a cheater. Being on the streets literally is making use of everything you have, you can find; may it be trash, broken pieces of glass, tires and even wrecked abandoned cars to make useful, cultivating originality and creativity, while cheating does the easy way.

If the streets have taught someone well enough, and such a person grew in knowledge with a strong sense of originality... principles and convictions follow. A person hold dear even the smallest creation his hands made. And by that, such a person can understand why cheating is a should not.

3. Knows the craft, the cracked, the good ones, and the good cracked

They just don't read forums but they get there themselves. They are aware that reviews can be biased because some sites are literally owned by the online casino itself. For them, things are always needed to be seen and experienced before they believe.

Over time they mastered the craft and art of knowing. They learned to spot the potential bogus easily, the new kids on the market, the naughty ones who are always the center of site suspension, the good abiding sometimes boring sites and the naughty yet good, abiding and enjoyable.

They are very cautious, alert and vigilant. Always on guard to what can happen next. Watchful enough to rightfully choose the online casino they could trust.
