Has luck turned it's back on me or is it end of slots era?

Recommended Posts

Hello my dear askgamblers!

I'm no good in writing,so long story short - after my first big deposit from playing Starburst slot (1000 pounds for me is huge one), which was a month ago, it is absolutely impossible for me to win  more than 30 - 50 pounds anymore, (which is the same deposit money). Been playing in random casinos random slots (mostly Netent), using bonuses (though i don't deposit much, always 20-50 pounds), been playing without bonuses in case i win something so i can cashout, tried to follow cheats/tips/strategies from  different websites about how to win slots, but in the end no luck at all.

So now I'm in big debts, cause I ended up chasing my loses. Don't know what to do anymore!

Is my luck on holiday now or I'm doing something wrong?

Has someone else experienced huge strike of bad luck?

Has someone made the same typical gambler mistake enetering into debt web and how did it ended, how did the solution came?

Thanks in advance, mates!

I'm having a quite of losing streak myself, haven't made a withdrawal for  little more than 2 weeks now. It happens to all of us, maybe try Microgaming slots? For example Game of Thrones proves it can pay big with small bets. Or try your luck with no deposit bonuses?

Hello Alise.D and welcome to AskGamblers!

I am sorry to hear about your loses but its just common thing in the words of gambling.

I can imagine you are frustrated and dealing with some difficulties.

I would suggest you to stop playing immediately. And you should change the game.

If you ever want to win big,Starbust isnt the right choice.

You should listen to your inner voice and be aware, there is no strategy, only your personal one.

Lady Luck is here and there and I wish to know the right moment to play myself but...

Its gambling after all and should be fun and should never take control over you.

:hi:

Unfortunately I'm having the same experiences. Can't win even if my life depended on it. The slots are killing every deposit I make lol

But as Awena mentioned it should be entertainment and chasing losses (even we all sometimes do including me) is never the way to go. Hopefully we can get back to winning soon.

Hello Alise and welcome to the AskGamblers Forum. :)

What you are going through right now is a period which we all have experienced ourselves... Some not so often, while others are mostly into such 'dry spell period' where you just have the odd feeling that you will lose no matter what and regardless of the play amounts and time and games and software...Last time when I had such period it lasted for several months, but eventually it ended up with a spectacular 7K+ win with Dead Or Alive and I quickly forgot about all bad memories. ;)

As the other forum members advised above, be patient, play only amounts which you could afford to lose, try to change games/sowftare/bets and of course...try to find Lady Luck's number! It always helps a lot! :D

Hello Alise and welcome to AskGamblers.

As everyone has already mentioned it's just down to bad luck and definitely not down to the end of slots! In the past 5-6 months I've only made 2 withdrawals and small ones at that.

Not making a withdrawal over the course of one month is nothing out of the ordinary and is actually quite common and I'm sure hundreds of gamblers, actually thousands of gamblers go through the exact same thing. It's all down to luck. You could even go another month with no withdrawals  :o  Yep no withdrawals but it's just how slots work and the harshness of this industry. If only withdrawals came to all of us every week! I'm sure your next deposit is just around the corner though! Try not to be disheartened I'm sure your luck is about to change soon.

People need to wake up and realize we are playing against some sort of system. Its not bad luck... This happens to everyone after winning ALWAYS. Its impossible to win on netent.

I beg to differ with this statement!

Hi all y'all

My frustration level is up there today.  I deposited 50 twice (once at Lucky Red and once at Manhattan) and got 66% with LR and 100% with Manhattan.  Each time I was lucky enough to last for about a half hour.  The worst was manhattan, played about 5 or 6 different games (all slots) and never even got to a bonus round or free spins.  That to me is really pitiful.  Other times I have had the staff review my gameplay and they throw me a 50 chip to appease me (at least that is something)

But that doesnt' happen now.

Am I expecting too much?  I know I am not a big spender (although I have gone through a lot of money, just spread it around) but it really seems unfair. I had the best luck at Dendera and played for probably 2 days!!!  It was great.  But when I went back to re deposit they had restricted my account.  Think it's time for me to just quit the whole thing.  But I wanted to see how others do when this happens.

Thanks

Gail

Hi Gail,

I'm afraid, it's impossible to give any advice here, simply because the facts and details you gave us are too general to be able to draw some serious conclusions. Keep it mind that the probability of hitting a bonus.free spins round is directly proportional to the number of spins you made and of course, the bet used while playing the relevant game. The bigger the bet is, the smaller the number of spins you could make would be and therefore, the smaller the chances of hitting a bonus round would be. There are also other factors to be considered as well, so please give us more info if you want an adequate advice. ;)

Welcome to the AskGamblers Forum though. :)

Hi glamazon, and welcome to our forum

Hmmmm...it's tough when you deposit and you don't even get so much as a bonus round or free spins! It happens though I'm afraid, I'm sure your luck will pick up soon. Is it only these two casinos in question that you play at?

Hi and thanks for responding-

the worst so far was Manhattan Casino - I wasn[t betting big amounts (nor more than a dollar) and just frustrated that it lasted (by it I mean the 50 I put in and the 50 from the bonus) no more than a half hour.  Think that's pretty bad, and other times I have had the staff review the pitiful game play and offer a little chip of some kind.  It's not a big deal but it has been happening more lately so.....have to slow down.  Big ups to Dandara casino, I played for 2 days on the same amount of money ahd I really liked the slots - different from the usual.

Have fun and wish me luck  LOL

Playing a dollar per spin with a balance of only 100 and you expect to play for hours and even days?! :o Sorry to say that, but your expectations are definitely inadequate to say the least. Unless you hit big /meaning at least 100 x bet/ with the first dozens of spins, I don't think you could expect to last for more than 5-10 minutes with bets of 0.60 to 1.00...
