cocopop3011 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago MGA highlights operators’ self-exclusion flaws in new report This was an interesting read over the weekend, so I thought I would share. It seems some flaws have been identified with self-exclusion during a recent audit. Quote The report, titled Thematic Review on Self-Exclusion Practices in the Online Gaming Sector, examined 20 licensees and 58 active URLs. This was triggered due to complaints that self-exclusion requests are not been activated. Out of interest - has anyone ever had a casino fail to activate a self-exclusion request? Quote

I have self excluded at a few casinos and most of them have gone ahead and processed my request in under a minute. Some casinos have a self exclusion tab which is even better. Some casinos keep sending me promotional email even after self exclusion. I unsubscribe and block them but still they find a way. Quote
loceff13 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago No issues with self exclusion for me the few times I have ever done it, Leovegas in particular was excellent when I came to request removing it asking the right questions and checking I was able to play within my means etc. The idea that a self exclusion would lead to a ban across all brands under that ownership would put me off doing so, I get the logic but if I want I should be able to be excluded from just Leovegas without risk of a ban across any other MGM(parent) owned online casinos etc. Not sure how wide that net goes.
