Recommended Posts

News hot off the press guys!

The Mega Moolah Jackpot has hit at Betway Casino and to a UK player!! (It wasn't me  )

Just after midnight on October 7th Jonathon Heywood a 26 year old soldier from Cheshire hit the jackpot which stood at £13.2 Million ! I'm so incredibly thrilled that a soldier of my country has won this!  Absolutely lovely news.

Well done to the lucky winner!

Shame it wasn't you or another UK member of our forum. Was already making plans how to spend my 1% of the jackpot! :D

Congrats to the winner though and heads up with the jackpot payment and spending of course! :good:

Haha! When I read it was a UK player I was thrilled but couldn't believe it at the same time! That could have quite easily have been me   I really want to know what his bet was! If it was a minimum bet surely they would have mentioned it, all I can think it was a higher bet? What do you think?

Yeah, as usual Microgaming are rather laconic when it comes to giving comprehensive information for any of their products and/or events. Rather surprised they did the same with a perfect marketing news such as the hit of a record braking progressive jackpot.

Anyways, that's Microgaming after all... :p

He won it on a $0.25c spin!

He sounds like a worthy winner however. A former soldier who served on tour in Afghanistan, and was just recently dealing with the death of his grandfather.

On top of this his own father is currently very ill and on the waiting list for a heart and lung transplant I think it was.

He said he'll use the money to get his father the best medical care possible, and he's always wanted a yellow Bentley, lol.

Hopefully he'll also think about donating some to the wounded vets charities, and other charities that work to help people like his father.

Congrats to him, and I hope it's a huge help to his father.

Not a bad return for a $0.25c investment right?

We can all dream. :)
