Paddy Power and Betfair merging to form 'Paddy Power Betfair'

Well, Well, Well - have you heard the news about Paddy Power Casino and Betfair? They have plans to merge and form one brand new company which will be named 'Paddy Power Betfair'. All the details can be found here but I'll give you a heads up too!

 

They are only propsed plans at the moment and nothing has been set in stone yet but my guess is that if they are already putting this out there it's going to happen!

 

The two casinos will become one massive casino with a combined business revenue of $1Billion!!!!!

 

I don't play at Betfair Casino these days but Paddy Power is a fab casino so i'll be interested to see how the new Paddy Power Betfair will pan out!!

Don't know about you guys, but such news do not make me feel excited anymore... I mean, we've seen so many merges and acquisitions over the last couple of years and yet little or nothing has changed for the players in a positive way...

 

Hope this time will be different and such a huge merge will result in better bonuses or faster withdrawals for example or anything else that could improve players experience in those two brands.

I'm not excited by this news at all.. I also wonder the consequences will be Paddy Power in that many sites list Betfair in the untrusted/rogue section due to previous player issues whilst Paddy is normally very highly ranked and trusted ... I guess they don't think it will affect them too badly ... I just hope that Paddy is the dominant partner in this deal, if thats the case I do expect at least some improvements for players as a result, and Betfair customers should benefit from the better customer service and promotions offered by Paddy!

I don't play at Paddy Power, regardless of them being highly looked upon...

I don't play at Betfair...because from what I heard, a lot of things can be unfair...

 

So...what do you get when you mix Paddy Power with Betfair???

I really don't know and it wouldn't bother me at all...

To me, it's like mixing my 'expresso' coffee or my capuccino with a glass of water...I get yuuuuccchy coffee!

In regards to Paddy Power being the dominent partner they will own 52% of the business whilst Betfair will own 48%, so pretty much an even deal really!

That's a good news in fact as Paddy is definitely the better brand between these two in my opinion.

Without a doubt and Paddy Power is the only casino where I've ever had an instant withdrawal and the money is in my account STRAIGHT away (to PayPal which is then an instant transfer to my bank)
