I wonder if anyone has gotten a full retrig and still got zero, LOL. I'd be too stunned to be mad if that happened.

I do get zero payouts from Pragmatic games, especially on Zeus Vs Hades - it can happen quite often!

I guess it's not super rare. Including demo play, this is the 3rd time I've seen it.

It’s actually more common than people expect. Free spins feel like a guaranteed win, but in many slots they’re just another feature with high variance. So yeah, getting a full retrigger and still ending up with zero or close to zero isn’t impossible, just unlucky.

Since I started this topic I got zero-paying bonuses several more times. Way more common than I thought... interesting design decision by the slot makers!  The existence of bonus buys could be a reason for it: if bonus buys didn't exist, the slot could easily just not give a bonus if the spin was not going to pay (though I'm curious if bad paying bonuses make players play more, not wanting to end a session or leave a slot on a nothing bonus. Slot providers probably know what they're doing).

Newer slot games nowadays are designed to be played with Boost Bets, Extra Bets or Bonus Buys. Playing such games in its basic mode would generally be money wasting most of the time.

However, there are exceptional cases of course, whereby good big wins can still be obtained from a game's basic mode, but 0x - 1x payouts have become so very common too.

with pragmatic play and zeus vs hades, if you get a 0x bonus they wont even give you the screen that would say congratulations .. so they skip that and just give you 

but if you get more than 0x (even just a 0.1x) they will say congratulations..

tough luck. better to not show it at all at that point, better for the players head

A game should atleast have a 10x win in bonuses. A game called primal megaways by blueprint gives you a bonus respin if you don't hit a minimum of 20x during a bonus round.
