Great Casino Wins of All Time-Really Inspiring

Recommended Posts

Archie Karas is a legend in Las Vegas gambling history. He is well known for “The Run”, which was a hot winning streak as he turned his last $50 into $40 million during a winning streak that started in 1992, playing high stakes poker and rolls  :o .

He is also well known in the poker community for beating Stu Ungar and  Chip Reese, two of the GOATs in poker, in a week.

One funny thing that i read about him is that at one point, Karas had won all of the Binion's casino's $5000 chips, which were the highest denomination of chips at the time  :o

Unfortunately he lost all of his winnings by 1995  :(

I think that he was convicted for cheating by marking cards some years ago.

The numbers kindof mean nothing to me though when they are presented in this way out of context... telling me that x person won x dollars playing unknown games at x casino pretty much doesn't inspire me in any way whatoever!

I've been playing quite a lot at Stan James in the past month, mainly £0.09 - £0.27 spins on Dead or Alive. I've had a five scatter trigger for £450.00 on an 18p spin, followed by a wildline on a £0.09p spin or £365 for a total cashout of £470 on a £20 deposit. Exactly a month later I made a £50 deposit and got down to my last £5 before hitting my craziest Dead or Alive win ever - playing £0.09 per spin with just £2.00 left on my balance I hit a bonus round that left me with a balance of £631 ... bang on around 7000x my bet!!

Of course, Dead or Alive is never going to pay you a few million.. unless you find a casino (and have the bankroll!!!) that will let you pay £10,000 per spin or more...! Hopefully though my point is clear :)

Great to see another DOA fan around. :)

Would be really awesome if you could share screenshots for these super wins with the forum members though.

Show time - let's see your winner screenshots!

Hey ValDes!

I really need to try harder to get screenshots of some of my wins. I often do it when I am playing at the Microgaming casinos where the games have quickspin built in but with Dead or Alive I often play it a little... "turbo enhanced" shall we say with Cheat Engine and so it can be hard to react in time to catch the screen!

I promise to try harder in future though as I'd love to contribute a few screenshots here. I have a few from other games I'll post in the thread you mentioned above!

Using additional software to speed up the usual DOA gameplay, eh? Definitely not a good idea if you ask me. ANY online casino could detect the usage of such software and of course cut your winnings payment when you least expect it.
