Closed: Can a casino refuse to close your account?

Recommended Posts

Is there any rules or 'fine print' about closing stated on the casino's website? I guess players must read any casino's handbook before doing business. I agree its another issue altogether if the casino doesn't publish rules about account closing. Legal intervention is the best possible way.

Leo Vegas have acted extremely unethically regarding this issue, and should not be trusted.

I recommend all players to boycott their site and play elsewhere.

They refused to close my account permanently due to the reasons I stated (unhappy with the service I was receiving), and then in what can only be described as a malicious personal attack, they labeled me a problem gambler without any proof what so ever, and permanently excluded my account without my permission.

It's important to note here that self exclusion is only available for problem gamblers at their own request, so not only did they disgustingly label me a problem gambler publicly without any evidence, but they then also acted illegally by permanently self excluding my account without my permission.

Funny how they didn't think I was a problem gambler when I was spending hundreds or thousands of dollars their per week without ever being offered a bonus of any kind over the 12 months I was a customer there.

If they really thought I was a problem gambler, then why did they wait until I complained about the service I received and asked for my account to be closed before they mentioned it?

I'll tell you why, because they are fabricated lies invented by them out of spite because a once loyal customer wanted to close his account due to poor service.

They are a disgusting organisation run by equally disgusting people who are not only unethical, but have no idea how to treat people with common respect.

I won't be taking it further, as I win in the end. They have lost a loyal customer who will know direct his deposits to a much more worthy site like Betat, and their unethical behavior and web of lies is now permanently on the Internet here in the complaints section for everyone to see.

As I said before, they treat you nice when there isn't a problem, but as soon as one is raised this is the disgusting way they react.

I advise everyone to spend your money at other sites who actually value their customers and treat them like human beings, not animals.

It is all written on the casino's website - terms, conditions, responsible gaming procedures, etc etc.. The problem is that most players do not bother reading such important stuff. Not to mention that sometimes it is casinos who are acting contrary to their own rules... :(

Welcome to AskGamblers though. Feel free to share a few more words about you here - Introduce yourself to the world  :)

I would recommend you to refrain from using such harsh words even though you are totally right to feel angry at LeoVegas casino for what they did to you.

The case was closed as Unresolved by AskGamblers Complaints Team last week. Considering the total number of visits for this particular complaint, I believe it was rather popular among players recently and definitely not the exposure any online casino would like to get on the internet.
