siqohuf
I also think this way only that this game has no strategy, its a game of pure luck. But when I read about some strategies like Martingale, D'Alembert, Fibonacci or Red Snake bet, I get curious to learn them just to improve my game play. You should check forum rules and as far as I remember it is not allowed to discuss strategies as Martingale is.

ValDes
Awena is almost ready for a moderator here. I checked the attached infographics, some of them are even created by casinos, so no problems, you are good to go, sicohuf. Interesting idea though, to gather and post all these infographics dedicated to roulette.. blondie, siqohuf and Awena

blondie
I do agree there's no strategy and I do think that if you'd win a lot on roulette using one of the "strategies" your winnings would be void,
Toiletseat
Hi Siqohuf, None, and I really mean none, of the mentioned betselections and moneymanagementstrategies will work long term. Sure you will have some luck once or twice using a certain strategy, but in long term they all will fail. Regardless of what sophisticated and well thought over system you may want to play with, eventually the roulettewheel will kill it. Be carefull with progressions, allthough they can bring you some quick easy cash in a short period of time, they allso can kill your entire bankroll within minutes. An ideal roulettesystem would be with flatbets, meaning without using progressions. Also: don't be greedy, getting in a plus is allready quiet an accomplishment. Concerning making betselections: You can't predict the outcome by looking at the history of spun numbers. A period of repeaters can easliy be followed by a period of sleepers. You just cannot tell wich one will come up. Having said this, take a look how some dealers spin the ball. Sometimes you'll see a dealer who clearly favours a section. This is called dealer's signature. It's one of my personal favourites. Most important: do not let the martingale strategy seduce you ! You'll need a big amount of cash, just to win 1 unit ! It is one of the worst strategies you can play. It should be forbidden So, if you really want to feel the thrills what roulette is all about, play it what it is designed for: Gamble Place bets according to your own gut feelings. Good luck paquito76, Luciana, ValDes and 1 other

These are some very useful images, siqohuf And the idea of making an infographic is excellent. But aren't these images someone's property? valentin68
So i guess it I need to say a word here, if this is about Roulette strategies. Hmmm... interesting thread. 4-5 years ago when was just starting gambling I was so attracted of all roulette strategies. And as somebody here told before me: NO ROULETTE STRATEGY IS WORKING. In fact roulette is the casino game that has the worst possible return for the player. There are indeed a few casino games where playing wise and with just a little luck you can win. But NO ROULETTE. I quote a genius of science (Albert Einstein): No One Can Win at Roulette Unless He Steals Money from the Table While the Croupier Isn’t Looking siqohuf

If there is any useful strategy to increase your winning probability then it will be so easy to win the game. But bad luck I think, no strategy can change the luck or make the ball land on your selected number/colour by using any tactics, it can be only possible if your luck is with you. Thanks Blondie for your opinion. blondie

Hi siqohuf, I don't want to ruin your dream or good spirit , I am only a honest rouletteplayer. Let me tell you something about myself. I've won literally thousands of euros, but I've lost them also. My overall balance is definitelly negative, I've lost more than I won. Many years I've spent searching for a good strategy, I am even a member of a forum, wich is entirely dedicated in search of the holy grail. And man, some geniuses are also part of that community, but despite all brainpower, all sophisticated testing software and all effort we still did not found the magic formula. Why? Because it does not exist. I could tell you a lot more of the enormous amount of strategies that have been tested, but Ask Gamblers is really not the place for this. Besides that:: All systems did fail at the end But we all agree on how the perfect roulettesystem should look like: Flatbets, meaning no progression, this is the most important aspect ! Must be applicable to pleins, splits, quads, lines, streets, dozens and even chances. System can survive over 1 million spins You see , 'there is no strategy' is not just an easy answer. Darn... I've spent lots of time and lots of euros to make sure there really is not one blondie and ValDes

paquito76
Thanks Paquito , my favourite is Playtech, and yours? On top of my list NetEnt and closely behind it Playtech (French versions) I agree with all the mentioned things and basically everything is told about what I experienced and think of strategies and playing systems. I think the origin of popularity of roulette is still can be found in the promise what the seemingly easy and high winning probability means. At the beginning it's really very tempting and promising for players but later everyone must face the rigid reality and consequences...but in spite of everything we still adore it. You know, you have half the table covered, you hit the 'repeat previous bet' button, but you want to lower the stack on some numbers. It can't be done, or am I missing something here?
