In another thread, Coco asked me if I'd trade my prize for cash and gave me an idea to ask all of you, what would you choose - cash prize or other gift, such as gadget, cruise, championship tickets, all inclusive trip.. or maybe bonus?

What do you prefer?

 

If you'd win, for example full trip somewhere nice, would you use it or trade for cash?

 

And last question - Do casinos always allow players to trade material prizes for money?

Well I think that my answer realle depends on the prize. If it was an awesome trip or some gadget (new phone, laptop, ipad etc) I would like that a lot. But then again, if I was asked/offered what I liked more- the prize or cash, I would take cash. Because just as VaIDes said, if you give me the money, I can buy it myself!  I would like the opportunity to exchange my prize if I was 100% I found it useless. But overall- any prize is a good prize!

To be honest I am probably the only person to say this about holidays but if I won an all inclusive holiday to somewhere or cruise or I could exchange for the cash equivilent I probably would. I am such a home bird so holidays really don't excite me, I mean its nice to get away now and again but I am certainly not someone who thrives for that.

 

If I won a gadget like the latest iPad Air or iPhone 6 I would 100% accept the prize as opposed to the monetary value. But any other phone I would ask for cash equivilent.

 

And no not all casinos allow you to exchange for monetary value

Good day, ACtually i have never played any casino on-line that offers prizes and no cash... moreover, it is not fair for people who used cash to provide them a trip instead, it limits people's freedom.

I prefer cash for sure.

If they would give me a plane, I would surely take it. And I guess that everyone here would do the same. For other prized I do not know what to say....

  And I just realized that this is a good idea (giving a real plane as a win): it should be told to some casinos. Or maybe even AskGamblers should come up with a contest giving a plane as a win! Wow!!

 I guess and I could say that I have seen this done on other internet sites that they specify the maney value of the prize before the game starts.  This way you know what to expect if you win.

As for the plane, I think it will be also a controvertial prize!

Because a person who really ears $2000 per month and suddenly wins a plane, will not have enough $ to further support this plane, f.r. even to hire a driver...or to have a parking lot at the airport

Usually it is about the same value as the real money. And just to repeat again my proposal. Blondie was saying that the only plane one could get as a prize is a toy (paper) plane.

But nowadays there are light planes about the price of a used car. certainly AskGamblers is paying its review writers 2-3 times more that this every month. Wouldn't be a good advertisment for AskGamblers to come up with a contest giving as prize a light plane?  Just a thought....

The price of a light plane on the web is about 1-2K so is not so much.
