Light shot just doesn't work for me. It allows me to take the screenshot but it saves as a Firfox extension instead of jpg and then I can't upload it anywhere!

I am trying to get some screenshot of the running game to share on facebook. But when I paste it on paint it shows only a black image. Has anyone have faced such problem? What can i do now?

 

Hajnrih gave you a very good advice a couple of posts above. I am using LightShot from almost an year and it works perfectly with Chrome. But you can find and add any other screenshot extension to your browser too.

Screenshots you can take within a game using the Steam screenshot key and can be uploaded using the screenshot uploader tool. By default this button is bound to "F12", and can be edited within the Steam settings.

Yeah, LightShot is a good tool but if you want to use a software for not just this purpose or want to get much more options, professional solutions (scrolling window or delayed capture) I can recommend Snagit which is a superb all in one software.

 

(the downside is that's not a freeware product )
