Do you play games in Demo Mode first?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone

I have a burning question...Do you try out new games in Demo play first?

I never do! I'm awful I'll always go straight in for the kill on real play! Huge mistake when trying out Steam Tower really should have tried demo play first.

But I always do this I never try out games in demo mode first. My partner on the other hand is the total opposite he will do a few hundred spins on auto play first before trying it on real.

I just wondered what you guys were all like?

Excellent question, Sharon! :good:

After a few 'burning' times when I started playing new games straight in real mode, now I'm always trying to play in fun mode first. If it happens to like the game then good, I could give it a try with real money, but of not it means I save some of my nerves and money at a later stage. ;)

I go straight to the games too :p

Only in rare occasions, when there's a new game announced on forum or everybody are talking about it here, I try in free play on AskGamblers.

But it's not the same at all. I have huuuuge balance here on AskGamblers in free mode and I have a feeling that free games are a lot more generous that the ones in real money mode..so I don't consider it as a real picture of the game :D

Well, I'm glad to know that most gamblers know and realise that playing in the fun mode can never be the same as playing in the real mode...in every aspect of the game. ^_^

However, the fun mode is a very useful tool for serious gamblers to familiarise themselves with the game first before taking risks with their real money...or just to know offhand first whether the game is worth venturing into or not...like I do. ;)  A new game is exactly like a new sports for me. Some I like, some I don't, but before I can know what I like or don't like, I need to try it out first. A first hand experience is always better than just judging a book by its cover!

I have a very simple system that I use. If the game's paytable is low, I will only play it either in the fun mode or using free spins first. If the paytable looks exciting, I will make a deposit and experience the game firsthand. The fun mode will later assist me to know the game deeper and better!

Whenever I like a game, I will dig deeply into the game's characteristics to know it inside out, in as much as possible. There's a wise saying by an ancient Chinese Philosopher, Sun Tzu,..."To win the war, you must know the enemy!". Similarly, to win at slots, you must know the game! Winning by luck and pure chance can be terribly exciting at first...but terribly disastrous in the long run! And I certainly don't like taking risks with real money on blind chances or sheer pure luck! ^_^

So, do I play games in the Demo mode first? YES and NO! :D

It is always OK to disagree with me

And it's true not all games can be

Some are poison some are honey

So choose your game real carefully! ^_^
