TomLinnane Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Not sure if there is already a post for this, so sorry if so! Well, about a few weeks ago I was enjoying some blackjack online. I decided to take a chance with a $200 hand and I was dealt "20" against a dealer "6". As I jumped in excitement because of the good odds I have to win the hand, I mistakingly clicked "double down", instead of stand. So of course I am now in for $400, and will obviously 98% of the time lose the hand like an idiot! I immediately noticed the mistake and started frantically screaming NO! Until I somehow miraculously received an Ace for 21! It was the most worst but best mistake I ever made, and I'm sure it will never again happen in my life haha. Have you guys ever had a terrible mistake turn out for the better? bigdk88, Adebisi213, Awena and 2 others 5 Quote

I think I had a few misclicks before, but it always turned into a tragedy. I do see people "misclick" at the online live dealer tables often though, even when betting 10K on a hand only for them to get lucky getting a "3" after having "18". Quote

Have you guys ever had a terrible mistake turn out for the better? It's good that your worst mistake turned into something positive eventually. However, I believe this so called mistake was not done in purpose, so I guess it makes it some sort of a gaffe perhaps...And speaking of gaffes, I bet most of the people here were having at least a dozen or more of these, simply because most gaming providers set their games to open by default with a high denomination and total bet. I have no memories how many times I have started spinning using these high bets instead of what I thought and intended the bets to be, but it must be at least a dozen times. Losing a lot in no time usually until I figure out why my balance is decreasing so rapidly, but also has a hit or two worth mentioning. Especially when I hit a 3-reel Wild Desire feature at Immortal Romance from the very first spin with the default 3 bucks bet, resulted in a nifty 150+ x bet win. Quote
