Netent & Visionary iGaming and their roulette client

Toiletseat

Recommended Posts

Many decent and respectable casinos are using Netent and Visionary iGaming as their gameplatform. What I cannot understand well is that their roulette gameclient is so underdevelopped, in comparison with for example Playtech or Distance Gaming. Just very recently Netent added the so called 'racetrack' (roulettewheel layout) to their client, but still the most anoying issue remains, when it comes to placing bets. It is just impossible to repeat your previous bet, and then lower some chips. Because of this it is impossible to play certain strategies, because there is just not enough time to place the best all over again in the desired chipstack. My question is: Will this 'cannot lower chipstack' ever be solved? Are Netent and ViG working on this issue?

I am looking forward to your feedback, as always

Regards, Seat

Silence, everybody wants to participate in your interesting thread Seat..and give you some feedback, but it seems that nobody is playing roulette :D

 I know, I know  :cray:

Wish I can help..gotta play roulette, I'll start soon ;)

haha, you told that to me 2 months ago.  ;)  Anyway, I am looking forward to your experiences. Couldn't ValDes help me, or at least get me on the right track so that I can enquire at the right place? Please Lucy, I am begging you, help me  :give_rose:

I was hoping that Luciana could help with this one. After all, she really promised you to try Roulette...

If I have to be serious, must admit that table games are not my top pick when it comes to online gambling. However, despite the fact that I'm not so much keen on these games, for me it is obvious that NetEnt somehow does not pay the same attention to its table games as it is doing with its video slots for example. My personal opinion though...

As for your question Seat, I'm afraid the only one who's capable to answer it is the might NetEnt itself. And I have an idea... Why don't you write them an email with all your questions, send it to [email protected] and post the whole letter here. Then, if they ever decide to reply to your query, you could submit their answer here. ;) This could also be a great way to test if the almighty NetEnt actually cares about its customers at all...

Thanks again ValDes. An excellent idea  :good: This week I'll post my mail in here. I'll need a little bit of time to write it. I want it to be perfect.

Well, I have so many promises, that's true..but I must do it one by one. I promised I'll try slots..thick, did it! I promised I'll play for real money - did it! Promised withdrawal - did it, twice already!

Sooooo, take it easy :D Roulette will have it's turn and 5 minutes :D

:yahoo: That is so exciting. O yes, one piece of advise, do not play martingale. You know: doubling up on a even chance (red-black, odd-even, high-low) when loosing the previous bet.

  • 2 weeks later...

A bit delayed, but here is my mail I am planning to send to Netent.

Before I mail it I'd love some feedback from my great forummembers  Please don't hold in, or be shy. I am a grown up man and can handle critics  8)

Dear infoteam,

For many years now I am a fanatic online live rouletteplayer. Over the years I’ve seen Netent grow to one of the topranked softwareproviders when it comes to online gambling.

Unfortunatelly for me I am not able to play my favorite roulette strategies on Netent’s live casinos, because it is not possible to lower your previous bet. Other softwareproviders like Playtech or Distance Gaming   do have this option, namely by clicking the right mouse button, or shift-left mouse button.

For example: I have placed chips on 18 individual numbers, all with a different chipstack.

The ball starts to spin, and lands one of these numbers I’ve covered. My next bet would be the same bet as the previous one, except for that one number that just has hit. I want to remove it.

This can’t be done. I would have to place all chips over the table again and given the very limited timeframe for betplacing this is just impossible to do.

Can there be an update expected in the near future regarding this ‘lowering bets’ issue?

I am looking forward to your reply

You, a fool? Man, NetEnt should be happy to receive feedback from an experienced and well-intentioned gambler like you. :good:

Netent answered back on 21 october:

Thank you for contacting NetEnt.

We kindly ask you to contact your online casino's customer support team with your question. The casino will have the best possibility and tools to help you with any game related questions that you might have.

Best Regards,

NetEnt

:(   :unknw:  Not a very satisfying answer ;)

Well, as you all know I am man on my word and although NetEnt is probably my favorite software provider I will be totally honest...

Seat, I believe you didn't get a reply actually, but NetEnt support team just gave you the run around. Which means that they don't give a **** about you as an individual customer of their product... Which means that they have just lost a huge part of the respect I had for this company. :(

By the way, please, do not give up. Try to follow their advice and contact any casino you played recently and forward them this email and request their assistance. Then, if the casino refuse cooperation you could again forward it to the NetEnt team.... Let's make them move their lazy as***!  :spiteful:

Their reply was customer service unworthy  :shok: I wouldn't dare to give such an answer to an external customer. It makes you wonder if they even bothered to read the question.  Be asured I won't give up and will contact at least 2 Netent powered casinos. By the way, until this 'no can lowering bets' issue is resolved, I will not deposit anymore on any Netent casino. It is a matter of demand and supply. Netent can't deliver what I want, but others can.

And it used to be Microgaming, before NetEnt washed off your brain :p :P

Actually we switched. I loved NetEnt and you Microgaming. Okay, now I love Leander and Novomatic :D But Microgaming is nice too.

Let's test Micrgaming too and send them a customer question and suggestion about some game and see how they will reply? :D

Sure, fee free to do it, my dear. I could even help you with the question... For example, a possible question whose answer would be very interesting for our fellow members to know is why Microgaming does not publish the RTP (TRTP) of its video slot games?

Those fellow members must be, first of all, you :D

Come on, Seat's question and yours, can't be compared.

It's like if he did ask NetEnt - Why your slots are so hungry and eat the money like crazy? (ok, this is a bit worse)

But I can ask, why not :p

And for that I would be most grateful! :good:
