Jack gold casino

Can't say I will miss any of those!

I am only assuming here.........

I have always believed that many casinos are fixed. Fixed in everything.

Yes there are many honest casinos. Too many.

It has been the Wild West with online gaming. The complaints on the internet are mind boggling.

Maybe governments will finally get involved now.

Khanawakee gaming and licenses from countries that I never heard of are who we are giving our hard earned money to

Imagine those poor people who had thousands at Jack Gold! What they must be feeling for the last three days. Hopefully it really is an update!

In my country we have a governement run online casino. Espace jeux. It's legal and honest. If U win 20k but have 10k in personal back taxes.... They will seize it!

Americans have got it right. All the way.

The Wild West of gaming will be a thing of the past soon.

UK is setting the trend.

Hi All

Sorry for the short absence and the radio silence. We were trying to fix all of our comms and get approval of al details of what is happening with Jack Gold Casino.

Regrettably, Locus Gaming Isle of Man, the owner and operator of Jack Gold Casino, are no longer in a position to offer customers the ability to place real money wagers at their property. As such, we have started the process of looking for new owners to take over the management of the casino as we still believe the site has got loads to offer to its current and new audiences.
In the meantime, we have decided to do as per Isle of Man Gaming Commission's rules and are offering all of our customers the opportunity to:
  •
  • withdraw their real money balances by 10/10/2014 on the site
  • ask us to process a withdrawal for them on their registered card between 11/10/2014 and 10/11/2014

The site does not offer deposit and game play functionalities anymore but, as said, as soon as a new owner has completed the transaction, they will be in a pretty good position to start trading again and welcoming players back at the casino.

We have made more information available on the site, by clicking on the homepage banner.

Feel free to reply to this thread may you need any more clarification. I will be happy to respond to all general and public enquiries in the near future.

Also, I would like to thank you all for playing at our casino and enjoying our service. It is with no little sadness we had to take this decision and we trust it is in the best interest of our players.

Ultimately, in response to all insinuation made above and clearly not to create a discussion but just to offer clarification:
  • We have always been licensed and regulated by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission which means all of our player funds have always been ringfenced and protected and simply could not be reabsorbed into the business to a point where we would have been unable to pay out all of our customer balances. It has been a moral choice we have made when setting up the business and that is what motivated us to choose IOM instead of UK (where such rules are simply not in place) as our jurisdiction.

  • Until the UK government introduced their new bill in May this year, the MOU between the 2 jurisdiction was more than enough to grant us licence to operate in the UK. Same goes for operators licensed in Alderney, Gibraltar and Malta for example.

  • We had applied for an operator licence with the UK Gambling Commission and submitted all relevant documentation way ahead of many other larger operators. You will hear a lot of comment on our business but, trust me on this, honesty is something that we have never been doubted on and personally, I think many players and operators have loads to learn from us on those grounds.

  • I do appreciate the scale of our operation might have made people more susceptible and judgemental when the site went offline over the weekend, but as you can see there was nothing illegitimate going on and we are happy to answer questions as long as they are presented in an acceptable format.

Cheers

Don't worry Mauro...... U guys won't be the only ones who are going under. Many will follow.

I personally opened an account there and then closed it so I didn't lose any money. No harm done.

What I hope is that you guys will pay people what you owe them. I also hope others that will be closing down as well will do the same.

For many years casinos like yourselves had many loyal players. Out of respect to them I am hoping all casinos will do the right thing.

You say that withdrawals will be given on a specific date. It looks like October.... One question Sir..... Why in a month? Your owner has closed the casino he will obviously not put any more money inside. Why don't you just pay people now instead of 30 or so days? Just curious.

Thank you.

Hi

I am not sure you read the comm right. Players have got time in between now and 10/10/2014 to login and withdraw. They DO NOT have to wait a month and I am not sure where you are getting that information.

Also, between 10/10/2014 and 10/11/2014 they can still email us and ask for a withdrawal so that gives players 2 FULL MONTHS to get their money.

Hope this clarifies it

Cheers

Hi Luciana

Thanks for the comment.

We are in talks with a few people about the future of the casino but at this stage I cannot commit to it either way. If it happens it will be sooner rather than later though.

Thanks
