Toiletseat
I think he did mean Real Mode Seat?? In that case I strongly disencourage the use of a proxy . Online gambling is still illegal in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, but new legislation should be active this or next year, allowing it for by royal appointment licensed operators to offer their casinos on the dutch market. And eh... as far as I know no dutch citizen was ever arrested, fined and/or jailed for online gambling, just as long as they have paid their taxes of the winnings. hajnrih
if you change your Ip you can make an account, play for real, even if your country is restricted. A friend of mine made an account while he was here in macedonia without any problems but when he went back to Ukraine he wasn't allowed to play. So yes the problems will come when you win something and ask for a withdrawal and at the end that's what we all are after. Yarpo I still don't see a sign " local wise guy " on your profile mate, so take it easy no need to get upset about something that doesn't concern you directly. Chill out , Dude. Hello and welcome to the AskGamblers forum. Yes, there's a way when it comes to using/changing the IP you are gambling online from. And it is very simple actually. Just contact the casino support, explain them honestly what makes you willing this change and ask them if it would be all right afterwards. That's the only way to avoid your winnings being void at a later stage.
hajnrih
Does a casino record the ip of the computer you are gambling from or the household router?
ValDes
Does a casino record the ip of the computer you are gambling from or the household router? Is this just a rhetorical question or....?
hajnrih
Not quite. I sold a laptop to a friend of mine who started gambling after some time. I was the initiator of course . He wagered a no deposit bonus in some Rival Casino and his winnings were voided due to multiple accounts. So I don't know if that was just an excuse or my account was tied to the specific laptop, to the mac address.

If you were using a static IP and your mac address was visible ,yeah, that's totally possible scenario... Most modern online casinos are using extremely sophisticated software products when it comes to monitoring and analyzing their internet traffic. hajnrih
I haven't tried multiple accounts for casinos, but I think it's tied to the household ip or mac address. Than again it's easy to change the mac address and ip address of everything so I have no clue how they keep track of accounts

So in the future, format the laptop and re-install the software and second...Rival nowadays are not fully trusted.
hajnrih
I formatted the laptop myself. So if they don't keep track by the specific mac adress it was just an excuse not to payout.
Th3 Runn3R
There are a lot of things they could use as an excuse.
