What to expect from a casino as a serious player...

Recommended Posts

I am starting this thread more for the online casinos to try and understand it's players. It is important that every casino that is soliciting an honest players business is ready to provide a safe and honest environment along with many other things.

Here are a few things that are important for me as a player. Please post what's important for you as a player. I am confident some online casinos may actually listen.

I expect the following.....

A safe place to play

Good selection of microgaming and netent games that don't freeze

Response to an email within 10-15 minutes

Low amount of time for a reverse withdrawal. 48 hours is ridiculous.

Fast approval for a cash out. Even if it takes 5 days. As long as it is approved within 24

Clean bonuses. Straight forward. No gimmicks. No sneaky terms.

A fair loyalty program. Cashback preferable

Respectful self exclusion to be honoured no matter what.

Self imposed deposit limits

No max cash out per day, week or month. Some places only let you cash out 5x deposits?

If a high roller, a VIP host to handle your requests

Live chat or phone is a better way to deal with players.

Ability to play in your own funds. Not always British pounds or US dollars when canadian.

No spam emails offering free spins.

No riduculos contests that everyone wins(capped bonuses)

Basically no gimmicks. Straight forward service.

This is what I expect.

Another important thing I expect from a casino is that if there is ever a problem that I have with them, to be believed and for them to look after my best interest.

I had an issue with GO WILD and it was fixed within 5 minutes. They didn't even question me about an email I said I had received with a 50 % bonus. They asked for it but I had erased it. They believed me and put money into the account. Pure respect. The truth was I really did get an email promising that bonus.

Also, casinoluck promised a 100% match thing but not to Canadians. I didn't read the fine print, when I emailed them they responded with an apology? An apology because I didn't read the terms. Basically they apologized to me for my mistake??? Amazing service. They gave me the match bonus. I cashed out 5k that session.

Almost all casinos will have their problems with a player. How they deal with it makes or breaks it for me.

Good job Go WILD and Casino Luck. Excellence in service second to no one.

Most important thing I expect is safe environment. Nothing less

Also, when something goes wrong, I expect a casino to protect me. They are buffers between my hard earned money and the software provider. All casinos must ensure that their client is always right until proven wrong beyond a reasonable doubt.

Maybe...in a dream world...

  • 4 weeks later...

Not a dream world Val... I have found a few that honestly care about me and my play. Including 32 red and Unibet where I blew a fortune. Their stance on responsible gaming is pure.

There is more than depositing and withdrawing. Much more. The odd matrix casinos inused proven system on, where I excluded myself until September made it clear, See u in September. Firm. Meaning they actually care.

I like that.

We All have gambling issues. Everyone. Let's not kidd ourselves. A casino that is firm on their policy must be respected.

One of my favorites was emailed to have a deposit limit of 250 per week implemented. Never to be changed. Even with a lawyers letter. Two weeks later, I managed to have it removed. I won a fortune but the point is I do not respect their reaponsible gaming. Still play there but with dissappointemt.
